Recording of Breathe was playing at intermission, singing is the drummer Pau(Pow)she wrote, played & produced this song . They did a wardrobe change and came back for the second half of the show.. Paulina is the best singing drummer I've seen since Phil Collins. SHE'S AWESOME, THEY'RE ALL AWESOME.. 🤟🎶☮️
Paulina has performed "Breathe" live only once, at the sold out Pepsi Center in Mexico City from a black grand piano. There a a few fan-cam videos but nothing professional. This was a special performance since Paulina said she not perform this live because the song has a special meaning to her. She also performed the song, "Black Holes" from the piano with a string orchestra accompanying her.
I can't wait for them to release to pro shot video of Pau last october in Mexico City, singing Breathe live for the first time, alone with her piano (and breaking into tears at the end of it) She had put a condition for accepting to add this bonus track to the album : Never having to do it live... She finally changed her mind last autumn and made that gift to the fans 🥰
The attention and recognition that Pau's Breathe track received, without anyone on stage, is one of the greatest rewards that an audience can give an artist. Regarding the song itself, the best praise I have heard is the one given by @Gabo Rossini in the video where he analyzes this song, where he says, words more or words less, that it should be prohibited to make such a beautiful melody with just 4 chords. Regarding Dust to Dust, it is a song without complications in its structure, as is generally what The Warning does, but it is a great song, very well written, attractive and masterfully developed on stage by the Villarreal sisters and that allows us to see the qualities of all the members of the band, especially Pau's singing drummer quality, which is rare and deserves admiration and respect.
The thing about Pau is when she sings people cry 8000 people at the Pepsi center in Mexico a few weeks ago and not a dry eye in the house she said she wouldn't sing BREATHE live to personal but she did that night.
Breathe is one of my most favorite songs from The Warning. Pau said she would never play it live, when the label asked to use it as a bonus track on their Error album. A few months ago, she surprised the 8,000+ fans in attendance at their Pepsi Center concert, in Mexico City, which celebrated their 10 year anniversary as a band. She played an amazing version of Black Holes, with a string accompaniment, then, to everyone's surprise, stayed seated at the piano and led into Breathe- the most emotional performance I have seen in many years.
AIUI, the label, Lava, told them "we need X more minutes to fill the album" or words to that effect... Pau went solo and did *Breathe* , sent it in with the stipulation in place, and we have all been enjoying it since... Lava never actually asked to use it in general or by name... they accepted what was sent and it filled their time request...
Dust is the prologue to their concept album, QOTMS. Basically a masterpiece written by teenagers. If you’re in search of your next reaction “project”, reviewing that album/roll-out concert should be on your list.
@@DadDaughtersandDrinks that is just the title track to the album , there is QOTMS SONG Which is the title track to the concept album about obsession love murder and sucide , the album is also named QOTMS ( queen of the murder scene ) this song Dust to dust is the introduction prologue to the the story that is told through out the entire album QOTMS , which also features the title track of the same name . You should hear the audience sing this back to Pau from the Pepsi Center show in 2023. Can’t wait for the pro shot version to be released. Those concerts were a level up from these Teatro Metropolitan shows which were amazing in their own right!
@@SDsailor7 they talked about why they were doing the three Pro Shot concerts when they released the dates for the Mexican leg of the tour. Honestly wish the audience had stayed quiet during such a rare, special performance. I truly hope if there is a pro shot recording of the Pepsi Center show, the audio from the audience is filtered out like with Theatro CDMX.
The song D2D is a prologue to the QOTMS album and you are at the funeral of the character and is asked to follow on the journey...which starts with the song "The Crimson Queen". The song Bereathe Pau wrote many years ago and they needed an extra song for the a Error album so Pau taped the song on their piano at home and produced it. -DUST TO DUST , Excelente interpretación de Pau con su voz ronca y melódica ,un buen riff y una increíble base de bajo y batería ,el primer tema del album conceptual de QOTMS
Pau sings lead in about 25-30% of the songs. Regarding Dust to Dust, I may be wrong, but it is the one song by The Warning that brings up System Of A Down vibes, with a middle-eastern flavour.
BREATHE" : que hermoso tema interpretado por Pau con piano ,su voz melancólica ,triste y destrozada, por hoy no hay nadie que este al nivel de Pau como músico completo
Unfortunately (or not), a few of the Queen of the Murder Scene album songs snuck thru your review of this concert, so if the lyrics seem to lack some message it is because they pertain to the narrative of that rock opera. The Spanish oration during the bridge is a preacher talking about salvation (and performed by their manager Rudy). 👍😎
