Could you teach the way American pronounce k and g? These sounds exist in my mother tongue too but I don't know for example which one is further back while touching the roof of the mouth?
Hi, Gabriel! Great video, as always! I wanted to suggest a detailed video about the TH consonants (both hard and soft). For some reason whenever I see any word with those consonants, I get scared and sometimes trip, despite my English (and American accent) being on a pretty good level. I especially tend to have a problem when these consonants are in the middle of a word (i.e. other, weather). I believe you haven't made a dedicated video about those consonants, and I think it could prove to be helpful to a lot of people. Thank you so much, and keep up the good work. Much love!
Defer versus differ.Confused by the example you gave using the word 'differ' in your video Love your teaching very very great you have really helped me enormously in my own accent teaching --your theatrical background really gives the presentation in all your videos a great expressive energy but in this vid I think you mean 'defer' instead of 'differ.' For example(my example: this wasn't used by you) 'You and I 'differ:'you eat meat and I am a vegan'(which I am!);versus what said'We need to defer our payment a few months. I wanted to check this with you.Feel free to tell me I'm wrong Thanks!!
