- We all have things that come against us and experience things we don’t understand. It’s easy to live uptight wondering how everything is going to work out. It we’re not careful, we’ll get discouraged, live worried, and not believe things are going to change.
But there’s a simple phrase you have to get down in your spirit - God’s got this. Joel wants to teach you in this encouraging message that you don’t have to figure it all out. In the natural, you may not see a way, but that’s okay, we serve a supernatural God. He sees what’s happening in our lives and already has a solution. Instead of living frustrated, learn to let go and let God. When you turn it over to Him and say, “God, I know You’ve got this. I know You’re in control,” not only will you feel the heaviness lift off of you, but God will make things happen that you couldn’t make happen on your own.

@Collin Lutz Being DIScouraged won't get you into heaven, either. Life is tough and the whole idea of encouragement is to help us face genuine problems that Joel himself reminds us will happen. I have seen a transformation in Joel's ministry throughout the years. And remember that in Joel's sermons he openly invites people to accept Jesus as their Savior.

@Collin Lutz everyone has their calling. His ministry is to encourage and uplift people. God has used him countless times to encourage me in my hopelessness. Sometimes we want to know the God of love, of mercy and the one who remembers us in our times of trouble. Hope is everything and Joel's ministry feeds us with that.

I have heard Joel Osteen as he was cornered by evil liberal got hitting reporters on the homosexual issue and every time he stood up and said he believes it's a sin and he believes the Bible represents it as a sin so he stood up for what the Bible says about this
I have also seen that when he was cornered on the issue of is there many ways to heaven and is Jesus the only way and again he stood up for what the Bible says and he clearly said I believe there are many ways to Jesus but Jesus is the only way
Furthermore you were obviously extremely ignorant of the totality of who the person of Joel Osteen is what God's call is on his life what his ministry is and what he says and preaches publicly in his church that are not aired in his edited television show which is designed to be professional and TV Worthy and get through to people who don't know Christ which has happened many many times
But people like you are in the Bible they're called the Pharisees who slammed the door in the faces of those who are entering the kingdom of heaven and then claim to be experts on the word to justify their actions
It makes me sick the arrogance that people like you exhibit as they sit on their fat butts cooking a mouse thinking they're professionals and judging everyone else was stepped up to the plate to disciple and Lead thousands perhaps Millions to Christ

Spew your ignorant Judgment of him in the faces of those who were about to commit suicide but turned him on and receive Christ as their Savior and we're born again and filled with hope
I used to be like you and then I realized I would not like to be judged the way I was judging others based on hearsay and gossip of what somebody else was telling me about somebody else
When I looked into it myself then I realized these false accusers like you were full of crap and the man they work using was really quite Godly and innocent of what they were accusing him of
I pray that you'll come to the senses of the Holy Spirit and not your own and make a sound judgment according to the whole counsel of scripture and not minut specific things you can cherry-pick about someone else and then cherry-pick specific scriptures you can apply to those specific instances that you cherry-pick

You guys obviously don't read God's word. Osteen is not a Pastor. He's a motivational speaker. He's so weak, when asked if Muslims will go to heaven he said, "Uh, oh, I don't know... Added: My wife's friend's son said the church was actually flooded. Not to quick assume. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, we just know what we see behind a computer.. God's Word still stands in all situations and circumstance.
