Liara isn't just Shepard's love interest, she's the secondary protagonist. She has over THREE HOURS of cutscene screentime, around 3x more than anyone else besides Shep, and has more than one comic series. An argument can be made that she's the 'canon' romance, but even if you don't agree, or don't romance her, Liara truly is her own character, with her own story, just as important as Shepard.

God this made me cry both with happiness and nostalgia, I have already played the trilogy and I can still remember every game and every event in it especially Liara and my FemShepard and their incredible romance.
