Great Central Raiilway 14 July 2024

We visit GCR for the first time this summer, arriving at Loughbrough just in time to see the first engine movements, before visit Ropely and then later in the day Quan & woodhouse station for a day of mixed traffric.

I think I like the BR Standards because we are about the same age🤔😉. (The diesels are youngsters!)

Spoiled by the sudden over-loud pounding drums and guitar between 04.15 and 06.38., and 11.44 to 12.36, the rag-time piano at 13.02, - and so on.
