This 3rd showweek didn't go exactly to plan, a cold virus is spreading through the company like wild fire... lots of unexpected opening nights and fighting a way through this 8 show week!'
I'm Dieuwke Tönissen, a musical theatre performer from the Netherlands, currently working at Starlight Express in Germany!

Tatsächlich waren wir am Sonntag da, als die Show abgebrochen werden musste. Bis dahin war es aber eine echt super Vorstellung! Und da die Karten ja ersetzt wurden, freu ich mich total, dafür nochmal im Dezember zu kommen! Für uns gar nicht schlimm. Find ich super und freu mich drauf! Und freu mich bis dahin auf hoffentlich noch viele weitere Vlogs von Dir!

I was honestly shook when you got into costume at around minute 11 because I was like … y’all are wearing a full body suit under those costumes?! I’d sweat at least ten times as much, my goodness, plus the lights and the physical demands of the show… it must be a true sauna experience 😂
Haha yess it is very hot indeed, you do get used to it though but the sweat is real!

Love your vlogs, miss doing amateur dramatics, hearing the 30 minutes call out, watching other actors vlogs, made me all emotional. Have to save up for the plane and theatre tickets to go over to Germany and watch Starlight

Ich war am Mittwoch in der Show und sind fast 5 Stunden hin gefahren und haben 70 Euro mehr bezahlt wie wir müssten aber es hat sich einfach gelohnt. Wir sind schon wieder für nächstes Jahr am überlegen wie wir dass besser planen können um uns nochmal die Show anzuschauen. Es hat uns alle nämlich umgehauen.

Ich finde die vlogs der Hammer sch verstehe leider kaum ein Wort aber ich finde die Witze und so cool zum Beispiel bei 24:11
