The other plug ya gets with amp is to hook it up in. Car. The plug that. Gos in wall outlet has 12volt out put. ! A car is 12volt. That's why there's no plug on it. You can wire it in to a car. ?
Depends what kind you have, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack output on the front, and I have seen some equalizers that have that as an input. So it’s definitely possible if you have the right one.
I have the eq. Just order this:Moukey Mini Stereo Amplifier with Bluetooth - for Speakers, ipad, Phones, Computers, Car, Home use - 50W Dual Channel Sound Power Audio Receiver USB, AUX, FM, Remote Control, Power Supply- MAMP2
Thank you Ben. I've been looking at this unit on Amazon, to go in my service vehicle. It seems to work well-enough, low investment, and easy to set up. You sealed the deal!
Hey man I just came across your video and I like your demonstration on how to use the amp. I am still very new to this kind of stuff, so was wondering if you can help me out here. I just spent 15 mins trying to understand how to set up speakers to a receiver/amp. So I was wondering how would I hook this amp up to my TV after I hooked my speakers to them? I have a Klipsch RCX-3 Center Speaker
Ok, so the main way to hook this up to a TV would be through those red/white connectors on the back. You would need a “red and white coaxial cable” to hook it up to your TV. Most TV’s will have these for connecting speakers to, but if your tv is too new it may only have an optical audio port, in which case you would need to get an adapter.
Well the red and the white are the left and right channels, that’s how they correspond. You just gotta match up the colors. I’d assume you’re looking at the right thing.
Using these for a pair of Sega speaker boxes from a Virtua Cop 2 arcade game (130-5124; also used I believe in House of the Dead 2 and New Astro City), connected through my PC after being spliced and soldering new wire in them. Unfortunately the RCA port was faulty when it arrived, but luckily, I can plug in regular bookshelfies in the terminals. The speakers themselves are... PLENTY LOUD, especially in the highs. And if too much bass is being driven, the amp will just cut off. Despite its cheap build quality at parts, good purchase. :)
It sucks you had issues with the rca connection, mine seemed to work fine. But if you’re enjoying it, more power to you! I like your idea of using these to power an arcade systems speakers. It must be hard to find genuine parts for something 20-30 years old, so it’s nice to be able to get something cheap that does the job reliably.
Good deal Ben thanks for the review wondering what your take is on all the negative comments are on Pyle in general on the internet and more Specifically you tube ive seen a lot of comments that say it works great out of the box but either stops working or the sound quality diminishes over time ??? i mean the stuff is prettty inexpensively priced but it isn’t free
Well, a friend of mine is in possession of it now, and they’ve had it for several years with no issues. That’s for home use, not car use though. I’m guessing for people who have it in a car where it’s exposed to a lot more elements like water, dirt and extreme humidity are having problems because of that
That is NOT to extend the power cord. It's to attach to another power source, be that a different DC adapter, solar panels or a battery. If the purpose were just to extend the batter you would just need wire to splice in an extra length, not the bullet connector.
FYI I’m watching and listening to the video on a good pair of Studio headphones honestly the damn thing sounded great , my big concern over the low cost of the Pyle products I see online will be longevity and overall quality at that cost I’ve bought used boats with Pyle speakers installed on them and sure I really didn’t know how long those were used and how hard but they were always ready for replacement ? Honestly I’ve owned 17 or 18 boats inmy life and I’ve always liked Sony and Jenson Marine Speakers and have had terriffic luck with those two brands more Specifically I try to always put at least one pair of Jensen6X9 Onboard for my bass the Sony’s are great for their toughness and Waterproof Quality I put a pair of them in a Jeep dash that frequently got pressure washed because of Off-roading Activities and those were in the vehicle when I sold it as well as a perfect replacement fit for the Factory Speakers i of course upgraded the head unit as well as a side note that Jeep was my daily driver in South Florida and almost never had a roof on it so those speakers weathered everything
Wow, it sounds like you really know your stuff. And I appreciate your comment for helping those who need this type of information. TBH I didn’t even know this type of amp was more used for cars and boats, and that’s why I just tested it as a normal home stereo amplifier. But it has been in use for years in the home with no issues. So at least in that use case I can speak to their longevity. I did not test it in a car or a boat though.
Thank you so much for clarifying that Edward! I hadn't thought of that but it does seem like a really reasonable explanation for it's inclusion. And this amp does seem to look the part of a car amplifier as well. Thank you for pointing that out to me and I'll make sure to put an update in the video description.
Ya, not just for a car anything on i am assuming 12v. Like a boat...And just because you only turned it up half way doesn't mean it has to get alot louder. Distortion will set in and there is a limit to its loudness... Anyway looks like this is an old vid, how has the longevity of it been??
I haven't bought that specific amplifier or heard it and the reason why is because when I was looking to buy one for this situation I wanted one from a trustworthy, reliable brand. Pyle audio has been around since the 1960's and has a history in the industry. With the brand new no-name Chinese labels I often find disappointment, no matter what the product.
I have not reviewed those products or handled them. I did see them while I was shopping for this product, but I wouldn't be able to tell you if they are the same or not. Unfortunately
It should, definitely. As long as they have speaker terminals. It can use any speakers, no matter the wattage, you're just only ever going to get 45watts of power to each channel. You could Bi-amp one speaker as well, but that would seem rather pointless.
Is Pyle a real company or is it just one of these bullshit chinese wholesale brands? A quick check on ebay shows you can get a similar looking 200W version of the amp under the name "Lvpin" for only $16 usd. I wonder.
According to Pyle's United States website they were established in 1960 and originally made (what sounds like) speaker components and eventually moved into the consumer space. Now, there are a lot of companies out there that make components for things we use everyday and never hear about because they are not consumer facing, but honestly, this story could be a lie. Or they went out of business and the rights to the name were sold to a shell company which liscenses it's use to Chinese manufacturing company. Based on their website though, they have been around since 1960
"I didn't buy an amp from China because I wanted the sound to be good, so I bought and amp from Pyle" That's something that's never been said by any audiophile. Pyle is literally the closest thing to buying Chinese crap. I bought a 120 watt Pyle amp for my garage which actually put out about 25 to 30 watts max. It was cheap ($40 on sale), and knew what I was getting when I bought it. It served my purpose to provide background music in my garage while I worked on various projects where sound quality wasn't a major priority. If you want something that's going to be able to drive a large pair of speakers and sound decent stay away from Pyle. That 120 watt Pyle amp bit the dust last week after about 5 years. $40, guess I got my money's worth.
I must say, Pyle isn't great...at all..in terms of life or power. Very cheap items sold from that company, I suggest you avoid products from this brand. I'm not speaking out of my ass here, I've actually had experience with their products.
some of their gear is respectable though, especially if it's the stuff where there's no 3000 watts PMPO plastered all of it. Thier AV receivers have toroidal Trainsformers inside which is uncommon on cheaper AVR's, and binding posts on all channels. They lack some RCA inputs and optical and coax inputs on their HDMI receiver, but a lot of receivers now focus more on HDMI. after all a certain $999.00 Sony ES receiver has very few inputs that are not HDMI. There are a couple of models of Pyle receivers which seem to get pretty good reviews. They also make speakers that look similar to Bose and sound very similar for much less. I'd rather have those than to shell out 999.00 for a real Blose! Nobsound makes clones of the 901 that are sold as karaoke speakers that have a similar arry of drivers but with a long throw woofer in the middle of them. They might actually sound better than blose!
Michael Cunningham I'm not familiar with Bluetooth amps necessarily, I mean, this would be a good fix for the price. But don't feed on the false advertisement, and don't expect much out of it.
That extra cable is for car installation
Haha yeah, I didn’t realize until after the fact
What types speakers can I connect to this Pfa300 ?
Powered or Passive
Greetings from Brazil! Nice review Ben! Thanks!
I’m listening to you on one of these pile amps
How are you liking it?
Awesome review! Can I use this amplifier to hook two speakers to a PC? I imagine I will also need a 3.5 mm to RCA stereo cable for that.
Gracias, amigo!!
That is a Bluetooth antenna
The other plug ya gets with amp is to hook it up in. Car. The plug that. Gos in wall outlet has 12volt out put. ! A car is 12volt. That's why there's no plug on it. You can wire it in to a car. ?
red and black wire is for car hook ups
It's for negative and positive....
Can I hook up a equalizer.. I think I've seen it before..not sure
I just have to get power for my EQ and buy RCA wires
Cool! Well let me know how it works.
I just blew up this amp on accident and it was such a great amp I would highly recommend it
I totally agree :) my best friend has it in his living room setup and it's incredibly discreet. Luckily he hasn't blown it up yet! (fingers crossed)
Gabassin 44 how did it blow up?
Awesome video review of the Pyle PFA300!!! Thanks so much man! Very well done!
Hi there, can i use this to connect some passive speakers and a DJ controller together?
Thank you Ben. I've been looking at this unit on Amazon, to go in my service vehicle. It seems to work well-enough, low investment, and easy to set up. You sealed the deal!
Glad you liked the review! Thanks for the compliment
Hi... can you push a subwoofer with this device

@@BenRunnoe Okay so if I'm tracking you're talking about the "R and L" on the back of the TV right?
Well the red and the white are the left and right channels, that’s how they correspond. You just gotta match up the colors. I’d assume you’re looking at the right thing.
Somehow you missed the large 'Made in China' marking on the back?
Well in his defense he did say that he didn't want the Chinese "branded" amps.
Where did u get those tower speakers from

Would this make sense to use as a volume control extension for some speakers with an already built in amp? Or would it just mess the speakers up?
Thanks. I just ordered one. Hope I can hook it up to my Bose 100 speakers in my bathroom
You have to connect the RCA cables to the stereo system right, I did and no change in volume output! What aim I not doing? HELP!!!

Could u use it to hook up to a car amp for power ? Can this b used for amplifying my car door speakers ?

Hey Tim how do I hook this up in my car ? I want to use it for my highs . I got a amp for my lows
2019 is it stil working no his or noise ?
It is! I have it at my best friends house, and it works great.
What about this Pyle vs. the Lepai LP2020A? I would like to know more about them.
MikeVonDoom lepai 2020 is louder no Bluetooth. But lepai last 2 months then it fails trust. Had 4 lepai they fail.
MikeVonDoom lp 2020 is a pos trust no good
MikeVonDoom mk
can this amp be bridged?
Doubtful
Pyle Lepy Lepai
Which one is original?
I have not reviewed those products or handled them. I did see them while I was shopping for this product, but I wouldn't be able to tell you if they are the same or not. Unfortunately
will this work with 2x45watt speakers?
It should, definitely. As long as they have speaker terminals. It can use any speakers, no matter the wattage, you're just only ever going to get 45watts of power to each channel. You could Bi-amp one speaker as well, but that would seem rather pointless.
I had one. it worked for about 6 months and died. I would not recommend this pyle.
Could you do a review of the 100watt pyle PFA-400U? just ordered one yesterday and can't find a single review for it
How can he? 🤡. He doesn’t have one 😂🤭🤭
Pyle is china
EVERYTHING is f***ing China anymore.
