    Being the biggest, everyone naturally focuses on Megalodon. But there were a bunch of related large sharks back then. Otodus Obliquus would have been scary in real life.

    They actually acknowledge another Otodus shark's existance.

    Size of otodus were from 30 to 40 ft, weight about 25 tons, and mostly it had the good bite effectiveness, lived in paleocene

    I always wished Monsters Resurrected made an episode of Otodus Obliquus so they could buff the shark like they did with the Spinosaurus and Megalania

    The title of Life on Our Planet sounds very confusing because it isn’t specific in time so I thought of making a more creative title for a documentary focusing on mostly prehistoric animals called “Days of The Planet’s Past”

    Is it Otodus Obliquus/Chubutensis or Otodus Megalodon?

    • @dizzyrose1809
      @dizzyrose1809  8 місяців тому +2

      Well there are many otodus shark species not just obliquus and chubutensis. The one in the video is actually obliquus!

      Yeah this is just one other the otodus species! Im guessing it is otodus obliquus a 9-12 m shark. Some other otodus lived with the meg at the same time!

    Even though it isn't a Megalodon. That's still a large shark regardless

      2 times longer than great white debate 10 times larger, u can search dives with deep blue and twice her length and gonna recognise how big was otodus, even tho a deep blue is so massive and long compared to a 1.8 m diver

    • @mevinhauke462
      @mevinhauke462 6 місяців тому +2

      And u can 3 times make it longer to recognise how big was Megalodon, damn these sharks are true lyviatan from bible but in shark look like

    Why does he look like a white shark? He's otodus, not Carcharodon. He was supposed to look like a sand shark. Or am I wrong?

    • @dizzyrose1809
      @dizzyrose1809  8 місяців тому +1

      Well otodus sharks do indeed look like robust greatwhites but again we will never know! We do know that they were mackerel sharks

      Do you think I haven't noticed that a 10+ meter shark is bulkier than a great white? However, they look much more like a white shark than I previously thought. And that's exactly what I was asking.
