Lively has quietly been one of the top rookies all year. Hes brought the presence that the Mavs needed inside. It would be great to see him wing a ring after losing both his parents recently. Great to finally see him get recognition from the media

U lost me there dude lmao, KP averaged 20 ppg lively has scored 23 points once this season, I get he’s great in short roll but KP is a great rim protector and even better passer too, ur thinking way too much matchup based, 5 out offense for Boston, mavs struggled when they saw fake 5 out with OKC and shitty shooters in Giddey, lively on the perimeter because of Kp and Al means JB and JT will feast, Celtics in 5
Coming off a strained calf though? Yeah, Lively has the neck injury but he only missed a game. I'm assuming KP is not coming back at 100% and could even be on a minutes restriction. It just feels like Mavs have been underestimated in every series so far - I'm even guilty of that. People thought OKC and Minny would both feast on them, but then those teams didn't look good against them and I don't think that's a coincidence. I do personally give the Celtics the edge overall, but I feel it'll be a series of tight games.
@@DaftRaincloud KP averaged 29 minutes for us all season, he was never on a heavy minutes load, the rotation with him and Al will give them both more energy, like the big rotation for Dallas with gafford and lively do. If it was a grade 1 soleus strain, he’s way past recovery timeline and they kept him out of ECFs just cuz we swept which I think is the case because there were reports he could return last series. Even if it was grade 2 there’s reinjury chance, but he’s been out since April 29th, man. Celtics didn’t trade for him for the first 3 rounds, they traded for him so they could win four games in June with him.
