I LOVE this scene because it's different from all of the other Final Destination post-distasters: since this time, the accident is ocurring during their escape. So dramatic and full of action :3
My father delayed our trip to a newly opened trampoline park for unknown reasons at the time. We were crossing a gate bridge when a few contruction workers tighting the support lines caught his eye. Coincidentally the bridge isn't very popular compared to it's sister bridge a little down the river. So it had a little over twenty cars on it then. My father made a u-turn with the other lane being clear from the spot we were driving. My mom asked him what he was doing and he claimed he had to shit. We bought into it as he hated pooping in public places, even at a friend or relatives house. He'd only poop at his home or a hotel. But we were still angry and disappointed. We reached home and he went to the bathroom for a few minutes (probably trying to sell his case) and came out without washing his hands. Which was strange seeing as my dad is a germaphobe, so I knew then he was probably lying. We didn't go to the tramp park until tommorow across the bridge after construction was done. He made some stupid excuse I can't recall. Something about an essasy for something. My mother explained why he avoided it. Apparantly he bought Final Destination 5 stupidly despite not watching the previous four. Got scared shitless after the bridge scene. Kinda funny as he expecting the bridge to fall once they left. Still intact after five years.
Sigh Have any of you guys ever watched Final Destination?^^^ Here, in all movies, there's a main character, that main character imagines all the events that will happen, for example, this bridge one, he imagined about the bridge collapsing and especially himself dying. After he died, he woke up, and started having hints that -that exact thing will happen right then and there, so he escapes the bridge before all the brutal events happen, get it now? This IS the normal version, it's part of the movie
+Antichrist2000 Also the bus slid off and fell into the water early in the premonition scene while it falls along with the last segment of road in this one.
Also, Isaac must have been really heavy, because in the first collapse the bus fell off the bridge when he was in it, but in this one (where he was out) the bus didn't fall off the bridge.
I know that's a joke (at least, I would assume). But, if that was really the case with Isaac - the bus would have tipped backward, since he was in the back; not forward. But, ironically, it falls backward in real life when he's no longer on board.
Why are you saying the bus didn't fall off the bridge? The road deck where the bus was at is where the cracks started appearing. Wouldn't it make sense that while the camera is focusing on the characters getting off the bridge is when the cracks in the road deck reach the bus and this is when it fell? Just because you don't see it happen, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
My theory is she still lost them while trying to escape, but this time Nathan helped get her to safety. 1:57 he's holding her hand guiding her. I know she had glasses afterwards but maybe she had another pair at home.
This is probably my favorite final destination movie because I enjoy the characters a lot more.....Well maybe not all of them, but I don’t know something about this movie felt so refreshing from the other ones.
Wow Isaac must've been a chubby boy .-. seen as how him being on it made the bus tilt forward and fall but when he got off it stayed perfectly still xD
+Soviet Union All of those in the premonition also survived. It only seemed slower because we were watching them die one at a time. If everyone survives, there's nothing to take up the time. Granted, it does seem as though the bridge collapsed sooner in reality.
Aldorlea Games I don't know. Maybe because they got off the bus BEFORE the bridge started to collapse, they got to safety before that specific event could occur? And even if the bridge destruction did eventually get to that, Olivia was being guided by Nathan the whole time, so he could have just steered them clear of such a thing. Plus, the bridge does appear to collapse differently than in the premonition, so they may have had more time and a clearer escape route in reality. I'm just going with what sounds plausible to me. I don't really know. Most, if not all, of the incidents that occur in the FD franchise at the beginning seem to happen a lot faster and sometimes differently than what the main character actually sees in their vision.
Aldorlea Games Yeah, I guess so. Maybe they just figured it would be boring to watch: the characters make a clean getaway and then the bridge takes a few more minutes to actually collapse. It'd be a rather dull scene as it sat there.
I should've known this would end up being a prequel because of those late 90's car models and that Motorola phone, everything in this scene is 'year 2000'
Final Destination has some of the most brutal death scenes I've ever seen in movies and their semi-realistic situations are actually heart-wrenching because some COULD happen. This bridge collapse specifically.! They've happened and many have died. This one was hard to watch considering how the real ones must have lost their lives.
The basis for the bridge collapse in the movie was the Tacoma-Narrows Bridge collapse in 1940. Nobody died there except one dog. A man named Leonard Coatsworth was thrown around by the swaying bridge and got moderately injured, but he escaped before it collapsed. Nobody else was on the bridge.
The Baltimore bridge collapse wasn’t anywhere like this it collapsed due to a boat smashing into it This happened due to construction happening during winds
小沢八紘 he probably gets bored from time to time and wants to stretch his legs or another entity probably life gives them the vision so that they can save themselves and a few others
I think life gives them the premonition it's clear death is a evil entity in this franchise and only new life can stop death so I think life gives off the premonition to stop death plans but death always wins in the end.
@@Sam-kr1mu I think death also got bored of how easy the deaths were in the opening disasters of FD 1-3 where the victims were in a position where they had virtually no chance to escape. TFD and FD5 death was generous and gave the victims a fair chance to run and save themselves. Death still effortlessly picked them off 1 by 1 as they attempted to get away (except for Molly but even her victory was only temporary).
A lot of people in the comments have observed that the bridge seemed to collapse much faster in reality than it did in Sam's vision. I noticed that, too. In the Final Destination movies, it often seems like the disaster happens much more slowly the first time (in the premonition) than it does the second time (after the character who has the vision gets several people to safety). For example, in "Final Destination 2," it seemed like Kimberly was driving her SUV on the highway, along the other vehicles, for a good, long while before that massive pile-up happened. That was the premonition. But, then, in reality, after Kimberly blocked several cars from entering the highway, the car crashes began happening only a short distance away from the on-ramp. And did it also seem like the airplane in the original "Final Destination" exploded much sooner after take-off in reality than it did in Alex's premonition? Maybe whoever it was that sent the premonitions was exaggerating a bit to drive the point home to the protagonists.
well, for route 23, i can safly say that they might not been as far as we thought. Also the fireball came from a few diffrent things, not nesisarrly the logs. Flight 180 seemed to have enough time to start the process while they were still in take off
I think it’s cuz when ur in the vision they really wanna go into detail of what’s to come. And when it’s over and u already know what’s gonna happen it’s like a “Ok we get the message, let’s get this over with.” kinda thing. If that makes sense.
well it's mostly because they show what happens to every individual separately during the same frame of time and when it's happening in real time they only show the overall event and not the death of every individual because you already know what the results are
@@abbie_joan true, and the deaths of each character that was supposed to die in the original accidents foreshadows how they will eventually die in later separate accidents like the cable that hits Nathan foreshadowing him being hit by the piece of Voleé Flight 180 in the end of FD5 or Candice being pierced by the mast to end up breaking her back in the gymnasium
That's not how roadwork works, Though normally nothing would happen as the bridge would be in safe condition. The FD movies don't have logic however, so they need to be as outlandish as possible since they have no creative freedom.
They are making another movie. Unfortunately it's a reboot. It could possibly be released in mid-2024. Since the second poster for the movie has a cruise ship, I'm assuming that's going to be in the premonition scene.

@@Megawaps Uh, no dude. This joke actually makes sense because the 5th one *is* apparently a prequel to the first movie. Just take a look at the 1st film’s plane crash that Sam and Molly got on for example.
Kind of stupid to run a little ways away from where the bridge is collapsing and then stop to look back...there is no reason that the whole deck wouldn't go down with the rest. The whole crowd of them kind of stops by mutual agreement to stand and watch the middle part of the bridge collapse. Yeah, right. In real life, they'd keep running until they were on dry land again, and many of them would be needing new shorts (and there would be more people, people climbing out of all the cars stuck on the bridge, running in panic).

Who's here because or March 26 Baltimore Maryland bridge?

Us
The Baltimore bridge collapse wasn’t anywhere like this it collapsed due to a boat smashing into it
This happened due to construction happening during winds
it's always nice to see people who try to make nicer endings it really brightens your day!
While this video was loading there was an ad for sight-seeing. There was a group looking out over a bridge. Coincidence? I think not...

THANOS : I am inevitable
Final Destination: Okay
I love how Olivia, Dennis, Nathan and Isaac were saved for just a few seconds
but 4 friends die later after death get angry for escapes the bridge fall during disaster and get revenge
If Death doesn't like to be cheated, why does he allow these people to have these premonitions in the first place?
小沢八紘 he probably gets bored from time to time and wants to stretch his legs or another entity probably life gives them the vision so that they can save themselves and a few others
I feel like Death has an unforeseen rival.
I think life gives them the premonition it's clear death is a evil entity in this franchise and only new life can stop death so I think life gives off the premonition to stop death plans but death always wins in the end.
Simple Entertainment
@@Sam-kr1mu I think death also got bored of how easy the deaths were in the opening disasters of FD 1-3 where the victims were in a position where they had virtually no chance to escape. TFD and FD5 death was generous and gave the victims a fair chance to run and save themselves. Death still effortlessly picked them off 1 by 1 as they attempted to get away (except for Molly but even her victory was only temporary).
i just wanna point out that olivia escaped that bridge and ran with heeled boots, truly an icon
Is it just me or is this EPIC
This is a great scene when they look at him. Jagby was God and saved them from brutal death
Shit just got real
I love watching the switch from, “theyre just crazy” to “omg what the fuck they were right”
I love the action sequence of all of them escaping their fate and running of the bridge. It's amazing =]
That dude getting a small cut on his fingers really thought that cut would be the worst part of his day
1:35 Damn he was the first one to start running. Man bolted off and left them behind
Pray for Baltimore button here 🙏
Bruh, you're in the wrong video 😐
I wondered if people will visit this video after the Baltimore bridge collapse. 😅
I just did. I remembered this movie when I watched the footage of the ship literally ripping through the bridge. Scary
Same
I love how the song plays : "dust in the wind" like in the ending,so basically the premonition is a profecy to the whole movie
final destination taught us to be vigilant asf in life :s
The song “Dust in the wind” in the begging and in the end of the movie. I just noticed
I'm glad this was filmed in North Vancouver where I'm from
2:00 just imagine your one of those cars at the very back, and see the bridge falling apart.
Bet they felt at least proud that they were behind
If that makes sense.
well it's mostly because they show what happens to every individual separately during the same frame of time and when it's happening in real time they only show the overall event and not the death of every individual because you already know what the results are
@@abbie_joan true, and the deaths of each character that was supposed to die in the original accidents foreshadows how they will eventually die in later separate accidents like the cable that hits Nathan foreshadowing him being hit by the piece of Voleé Flight 180 in the end of FD5 or Candice being pierced by the mast to end up breaking her back in the gymnasium
filmmakers did a great job portraying dreams and vision appears slower than real life
How to be safe:
Be the cameraman
Death doesn't like to be cheated!
bro was like: GET OF THE BUS GET OF THE BUS that has me laughing
Same 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Out of all the disasters in the FD series this has got to be my most favorite
Final Destination: The movie series that maked you afraid to even walk out your front door
2:06
Before: *bus falls by its self*
After: *bus falls with the bridge*
This is predicted
Not really, he changed the course of events
The Death changed the events because they got off from bus
Yeah just like the flight 180 and the route 23 pileup
Poeple think they are smarter then the creators of the movie but they end up making themselve look like they have no watched it.
*Final Destination has made me scared of everything-- I don’t feel safe anymore ..*
NEVER, under any circumstances, EVER allow a bridge to be under construction AND open to the public AT THE SAME TIME!!!
You would think that's common sense
@@zacharycoltrane The phrase "common sense" has no meaning in Final Destination.
@@computernerd1101 True
That's not how roadwork works, Though normally nothing would happen as the bridge would be in safe condition.
The FD movies don't have logic however, so they need to be as outlandish as possible since they have no creative freedom.
I wish they kept this franchise going. This is 1 of my fav horrors
They are making another movie. Unfortunately it's a reboot. It could possibly be released in mid-2024. Since the second poster for the movie has a cruise ship, I'm assuming that's going to be in the premonition scene.
@@RobotBondageHow is it unfortunate? That just means we won't have Flight 180 mentioned on the movie.
their trying to get it to released in 2025 for the 25th anniversary of the original
Guy hears about this on the news.
Guy: I m glad i took the day off
"If something happens to them, it's on us. You get that?"
"Yeah."
"Then go get that."
How great Sam told the others about the bridge collapsing
This one and the first one were the best. They really kept that suspense in these 2 where the others were all campy
I love how the bridge colapse sequence it literally was to short but during the premonition it took like to long to finally colapse.
LMFAOOOOOOOOOO the bald guy 😂😂😂😂 “ this is a major liability issue so if something happen to them this is on us you get that “ “yeah” “ then go get that”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was named “Final Destination” but they never get to finish their rides.the plane , the bus, the rollercoaster.
Riiiiiight
I once walked over that exact bridge (Lions Gate in Vancouver, BC) flying high on acid years before this movie, and I tripped out on something similar to this scenario happening.
Suffice to say, I never walked a bridge while on acid again.
So the suspension cables just snap for no apparent reason. Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you “Giving up: the motion picture”

And yeah... those workers need to give a mega slap on the face to the one who thought the structure was safe for maintenance...
it was kind of scary how it fell but my favorite part is when it falls
I live right near the Humber Bridge, also a suspension bridge and I get reminded of this film far too often. I’ve crossed the bridge safely many times though. But you never know.
The fact that they went off the bus but still died it was my worst nightmare 😥
These movies make me terrified of my own bed 😂 and now I’m terrified of bridges ,planes, gyms elevators ,escalators ,hell I’m scared of of everything around me now 😂
Finally, Everyone survived. after all just a Dream!
Anyone notice how the bus is still on the bridge when it collapses in this version of the accident but in the premonition it slides off with the glasses dude still inside of it?
was it just me or did the bus seem to stick to the road when it fell?
It's touching seeing that his girlfriend follows him despite looking crazy
1:56 Rest in Cranberry
I noticed that the bridge collapsed a little different this time. The bus falls backwards instead.
Sam unknowingly set the fates of not only everyone in the movie but also in the first few movies. I can't wait to see what the sixth film will bring ; a 6th film was in the works prior to the COVID Quarantine.
The first time people gonna say thank god for the traffic
Death after the survivors temporarily survived death in all 5 films.
1: "Dont worry, I can fix this. I did it before.
2: Oh no! Not this again!
3: OH COME ON!!! Y'all riding my rollercoaster (because the name of the coaster "Devil's Flight."), and I still can't kill y'all!?
4: Oh I'm sooooooo going to enjoy killing you unlikable a**holes. And they thought I was one?
5: WHAT!?...This never happed before! I'll make sure this wont happen again.
It happened many times before 5 though.
@@Megawaps Uh, no dude. This joke actually makes sense because the 5th one *is* apparently a prequel to the first movie. Just take a look at the 1st film’s plane crash that Sam and Molly got on for example.
@@epicguy7479 I know it's a prequel, lol. The comment just implies that stuff like this never happened before the fifth movie, which is not true.
Death a little advice…
Stop giving these kids visions of who dies and you won’t be cheated!
I don't think Death was giving them the visions. Why would Death want to warn them?
Kind of stupid to run a little ways away from where the bridge is collapsing and then stop to look back...there is no reason that the whole deck wouldn't go down with the rest. The whole crowd of them kind of stops by mutual agreement to stand and watch the middle part of the bridge collapse. Yeah, right. In real life, they'd keep running until they were on dry land again, and many of them would be needing new shorts (and there would be more people, people climbing out of all the cars stuck on the bridge, running in panic).
i wouldnt stop running until i was off the bridge.....i hate in movies when people look back it makes you slower
well not me because I cant run in the first place
this is why i die first 😂😂
VoidCri i would prob die first 2 cause im a pretty slow runner and scared of heights
@TrailOfDespair. Why can't you run? Are you a handicapped person? or do you suffer from some disease that stops you from running?
I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING like why did it stop there???????
this movie left me traumatized at first, but seeing it one more time this goes beyond terror
This is at least the safe Version of Final Destination 5 Without the brutal scenes
It shows the bus falling with the road.. but in the vision, it rolled off of the bridge. Weird.
Yeah, and also, the fat dude wasn't supposed to come out of the potty untill the bus starts falling. How did he live?
the driver forgot to put the brakes
He lived when they all got off and sam was telling them to get off the fat guy hears sam and goes outside with molly and sam
@@rosierojas2035 it was a dream

Peter: Sam is right. The bridge DID collapse.
Sam: Told you so.
