I am Rita from Rainbow Parrots.
Many of my babies go home to families who live in other states.
The purpose of my videos is to introduce my babies to their new families.
Each week as the babies grow and mature their new families get to know their personality.

@@xPawsie I did! She turned out to be a he, and he’s doing great! :) he turns 1 in a couple weeks!
@@MudPuddleOinks That's fantastic to hear! I'm waiting on a little 7 week old sun conure. He'll be my first bird so I have been anxiously preparing everything like a first time parent haha. Make sure she gets spoilt for her birthday!

hello! I'm currently living in Taiwan and about to add a baby green cheek to my flock. they will be about 2.5 weeks old, since that is the standard age they are sold at. I was wondering if you have a feeding schedule I could follow? I've raised a cocktail from that age, and wasn't sure if it is different for baby cocktails than it would be for conures. thanks so much!

Just ran across your Lake Lanier duck video. We happened to stop at the browns bridge in 2016 while traveling. Met the sweetest duck in the parking area directly next to the bridge. He/she was a large white duck (large round belly). Seemed domesticated. Was very affectionate - hard to leave. Had the best time with him. Curious if you know anything about him. Looked similar to the one in your video. Think about him occasionally.
I am so sad this is het last video. Look at her website, she won't be Breeding Amy baby's any more, and she won't upload any video's again. We mis you please come back😫😢💔😭😭

Hi my pineapple conure laid 5 eggs with my green cheek male and shes been sitting on them 24-7 what can I do for her once they've hatched the nest is on the bottom of the cage next to her food I'm worried they'll get cold or foot stuck on the bottom floor bars and would she mind me changing her food and water once they've hatched so far she doesnt mind but dont want her neglecting them... thanks

My green cheek parrot keeps picking at the ring on his foot do you think that he will stop after awhile and get used to it ? And I have had him for 4 weeks and I cant get him to come to me or get on a stick can you or someone help

Yes this is normal. You have to spend lots of time with your parrot to build a relationship and eventually they will become more warm to you. Please don't leave them in a cage all day. Get them out, spend LOTS of time with them. They are amazing animals. Hope your parrot and you are doing well
