    As part of my retirement plans and also owing to the very shaky housing market now, I just sold a property in Philly and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains in months, I'm really just confused at this point...

    • @EdwardWells-bj4eh
      @EdwardWells-bj4eh 3 місяці тому

      Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge, And it also all depends on how long you're willing to hold for, stocks might likely tank further, but making serious gains in this downtrend wouldn't be a problem if you're a pro...

      @@EdwardWells-bj4eh Reason I decided to work closely with a broker ever since the market got really tensed and the pressure became so much(I should be retiring in 17months) so I've had an brokerage-adviser guide me through the chaos, its been 9months and counting and I've made approx. 650K net from all of my holdings...

      @GiovanniJakob Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’ Victoria Carmen Santaella” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up....

    We plan to do the same. Have been on dozens of trips now so we have our legs under us. We go to a bit more expensive places in Ireland and Scotland but allocate 20-25K a year for travel. That gets us 4+ months of slow travel. The rest of the time is spring and fall where we live and we love it so we will stay home for those and the holidays while our folks are still around. Then Jan, Feb somewhere milder like panama, costa rica, New Zealand.

    Nice video! We met you guys briefly on the Venezia from Barcelona. You have a great channel. My husband and I are part time nomadic slow travelers also. The Carnival cruise was our first cruise and after eight months of SE Asia and European travel. We are early retirees too but I think a bit older than you guys. We also try to stay 28 days at Airbnbs when we can.

    Yikes. $1,500 a month for airbnb in europe only gets you a room and nothing else. It's gotten way too expensive.

      If you get out of the EU and into surrounding countries, it is way less. We are full time travellers currently living in Saranda, Albania and a months rent here is about $450 USD. We would NEVER pay $1500 USD a month.

      5 back-to-back cruises?! WOW! I especially like Cruiseplum for searching and it seems to have a cool way of tracking for possible back to backs. I also like you can do searches and save them and - most of all - it gives the TOTAL cost in the search including gratuities and port charges. Is there a search engine / site you epsecially like?

    Thanks for the video,
    I want to know if the $4k a month includes getting to your overseas destinations?
    Also, have you guys been to Australia/ New Zealand yet?
    If not, we are cruising in Mar/Apr 2024 for 28 days, and it's coming in at about $4500, not including tips.
    Great way to see that part of the expensive world!
