The Bible is God's Word

Section from Halley's Bible Handbook (my father's old copy), speaking about the nature of the Bible as God's word different from other works of literature, even other helpful Christian literature. Intro is a Hebrew reading of the first verse of Genesis, the closing narration is a Koine Greek reading of the first verses of Revelation.

Thanks! Mostly house churches but went to Calvary Chapel in Saint Paul MN, that's where I was introduced to Halley's. I met my wife there too. Have been to just about every kind of (theologically conservative) church there is and found believers who want the Lord and his word and reject the Spirit of the Age, so even though I wish there was an organizational and liturgical unity to the church at least like there was in the first millennium, I see brothers and sisters all over and my goal is the "Mere Christianity" Richard Baxter spoke of, outlined in the Creed (How to believe), the 10 Commandments (How to Live), and the Lord's Prayer (How to desire&ask).
