Lewes Bonfire Night - Lest We Forget - Act 2

A short film featuring Lewes Bonfire Night in Sussex, England. Filmed on location by Cliff Wright in Lewes during the famous Bonfire Night Celebrations on November 5th between 1999 - 2009. Also known as Guy Fawkes Night, Lewes boasts the biggest remembrance of this traditional British custom with 6 Bonfire Societies made up of hundreds of individuals known locally as Bonfire Boys and Girls, creating their own processions and fireworks. Featuring music specially composed by Thomas Thompson this film focusses on the unique atmosphere of the Cliffe Bonfire Society whose formation dates back to 1853.
