Of the three ive tried (im posting out of order), this got an 8/10, my highest so far. It took me off guard. I didnt love it initially, but it grew on me fast. Great combination of flavors.

OK a very good dram. I get lots of cinnamon and baking spice on the nose, a spicy palate and mellow. There’s a bit of honey and vanilla as well, but I missed the custard. A worthy choice for sure
This is the kind of surprise I was hoping for with a premium set of drams. I've had rye mixed with cognac in different cocktails. Of course, this is still predominantly rye, but it works well. The custard taste was coming through on the finish for me with every sip. Excellent pick!
I have to say my advent journey was lame after my box was destroyed in shipping. I tried to work with the advent team to receive a replacement box but when that one was lost in shipping I was left with a handful of samples. This sample was definitely the eye of the storm because it was delicious. So delicious in fact that I tried to buy a bottle using the coupon code the advent team provided to make up for the advent box debacle. Of course everyone else thought the same and my order cancelled due to low stock. Best part is the coupon code went with the cancellation leaving me high and dry. I guess I should feel lucky that I got a refund.

We are all checked into our room at the Flaviar Hotel. We brought three bags with us. The first was delivered straight away and the wife is enjoying her Lymar Estate 2023 Pinot Noir from the Wine Advent Box. I, on the other hand, am sitting here very THIRSTY. Unfortunately the Whiskey Advent Box that was ordered on Nov 16th is still "In Transit". The line for the Bell Services desk just rings and rings and while friendly and empathetic- the concierge is only able to say that he's working on it. I think the bellman ran off with the gin sampler because while we got a note it was delivered the only thing left at the door was someone else's dry cleaning.

I get huge amounts of honey and vanilla. Soft and easy to drink. I'm not normally into ryes, but this is very good.

Truly unique and delicious. The rich dark fruit over the smoky rye is an exceptional combo. The one to beat going forward. 9 out 10
