Would like to see slow motion how they do the sewing at the beginning...pulling thread from bottom to top unfortunately this was not a tutorial video but even then I learned a lot. A few years back I used to work for a man from Gujurat. I wish then I would have asked him to bring me a fine embroidered piece when he would visit his family. From Dallas Tx, Thank you. 1/11/18.

The work is called Aari work. The tool is a Embroidery frame, similar to the loops we use for hand embroideries. Its a wooden one. You can check with any of the Indian Tailors for more details on this. The threads are usually called zardosi threads. Other things used are chamkis (glittering ones), stone laces etc
I will never have the level of skill those Artists have. It's very satisfying to watch them with their precision and speed.

Your computer will likely allow you to adjust video speed, faster/slower, so that should help you. my computer is cheap & i can do speed changes,

It’s a crochet hook and most of the embroidery is done with it
