Thats exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!
New to the free diving world but really enjoying watching this. Always had a passion for the water and watching these athletes doing what they do so naturally is inspiring 😱
Alexey's safetyes have to get a medal. super understanding of situation and reaction.
Alexey shouldn’t protest. He was clearly blacked out and the safety divers saved him
The security people are going to 40m like it’s a walk in the park lol
I want to buy VB swag. Can we buy shirts or hats anywhere to support the sport?
Yes please.
I don’t think they have merch
Yeah! Nice dive!!
Hello from Guadeloupe
Nice dive!
Let’s go!
Probably the early black-out of Alexey is connected not only with not well enough recovery after 3 subsequent days with deep dives, but also with a psychological factor. It should be very hard to break Whilliam's record on the event organized by Whilliam. So, might be, if Alexey would attempt 100 or 101 m, he could be more successful.
Please tell me how the rescue works if a black out happens in the depth where are no safety divers?
First, it is very unlikely a black out happans below 30m, because of the partial O2 pressure.
But in case there is a problem the main diveline will be very quickly hoisted up by a counterweight and motorized system. All athletes are by a lanyard connected to this line.
All athletes are monitored closely by the camera, Sonar, and vibrations caused by the sliding lanyard by the Judges. Athletes are not allowed to anounce a depth more then their personal best + 3m.
@@ookiemandthnx for precise answer.
@@ookiemand but u know the dive from the spanier Ramon Carreno! there was no counterweight huh? :(
Bravo Alenka! Kapo dol!
how do they open their eyes in salt water?
What are the names of the two announcers? They look like a very nice couple

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why was Pepe yelled at when Alexy blacked out?? What happened ?
Probably standing in the way, or interfering with safety teams' work.
He stepped over the rope and was trying to help, but probably more in the way
hes such an idiot....this is already the second time that he has attracted negative attention at this event.
Because he was interfering with the work of medical professionals.
where does Pepe train? because he is the type of guy I would love to train with! seriously!
He´s in Playa del Carmen, México. Blackfin freediving
Do you know why he was yelled at??
@ashleyc8373 he was giving advice to the medical team (he helps coach molchanov and are good friends). They were in a high stress situation and didn't want his involvement. Apparently.
@@ashleyc8373 because he is not a medic and was interfering in the process of the medical professionals -- being a friend and coach is fine but disrupting the professionals when they are tending to the care of a patient is not a good idea.
@@Galopo muchisimas gracias señor! 🤝
what is goggles name? used alice modolo
Comment on the two commentators:
Eliette is giving good background info, explaining well to amateurs, and also is making an effort of guiding somewhat structured through the broadcast. I find her constant "yes yes yes" a bit tiring, and also the constant spanish phrases. It s like "yes we get it, you speak Spanish", and also, we get it you can roll your r and think you are perfect at pronouncing names (while actually butchering Alexeys.. etc).
Harry is bascially just like a dude watching on the couch and commenting, and I find his overexagerrated reactions a bit annoying (the screams when someone has a good protocol and so on).
I get they are part of the community, so it will be more a personal commentary from friends but a bit more professionalism would sometimes be good.
It also sounds like everyone has perfect technique and they re raving about everyone. Would be more interesting to actually tell us also where they still might have a weakness or what they could improve. Otherwise it is really just like two moms telling their kids how great they are ;)
Just my two cents.
Has there ever been a intercounter with a shark during these events? I have never seen a shark freediving all my years in Egypt but would love to hear about it.
There was actually an encounter last year in sharm el sheikh during an event but not with shark , A Whale shark in fact which technically does not count as a shark i guess ?
@@headhunterzfan2 very cool. I have seen whale shark in Sharm El Sheikh once. It was about 8 yrs ago
@@RIMHQ-YT That's awesome! Hopefully one day i will be able to see one as well like you.
for talya davidoff's continental record, when she takes the tag, she makes a final press beyond the "candy can" zone, so why is her record validated?
You are absolutely right
it was overturned in bottom plate camera review
Oh, too bad :(
too much pub !!! unwatchable!
