Even though I can’t drink TIBETAN butter tea now, I used to love བོད་ཇ་ I used to make it by boiling real Tibetan ཇ་བག་ཆུང་ I am having tsampa to this day even though it’s not easy for me to get tsampa any more because of my location! The way the Tibetans count year of a child is when the child is conceived. So, by the time it is born, it’s already one year old while the conventional idea is, the year starts only after the child is born! That’s why there is a year or two difference between the conventional concept and Tibetan way of counting years!
