Had a 2014 street glide after my 07 dyna, sold it just could not stand throwing that thing around in turns so went to a dyna again but I test rode the new road glide and wow they have shed so much weight and I feel absolutely comfortable
With a lot of Thrashin Supply parts being able to fit , and being able to drop in the screaming eagle 511 cam kit, you can turn the new Road Glide in an absolute ripper. Test driving it was not a good idea for my wallet this year. I wonder if Kraus's inverted front end can bolt right on too.
The inverted front end would 100% take it to a different level - But after doing all that, I would be curious to know how close cost would be coming to a CVO RG ST
@@FXDLSBrooklyn It would be pretty close, especially with labor fees, but the Kraus front end uses Ohlin's cartridges so you'll be able to dial it in. It might be the same cost in the end, but it would be very bespoke
Anyone that sleeps on these '24's is sadly missing out. This thing changed the game compared to the '23 and previous Road Glide. The '24 is the best of all the '23 RG versions combined into a ridiculous value. It's more ST than the old ST and really doesn't give up anything critical. The new plastic is sexy as all get out and this liquid cooled motor is very satisfying stock with tons of hop up potential. It feels like a way smaller, much more nimble bike than it looks. I did Onyx Pearl over black, lol. Waited a long time for a bagger as I have been a hotrod FX Springer owner for over 10 years. That bikes iconic, but this thing will cause it to collect dust. Previous RG just hadn't done it for me and this just flipped the table over.
Not a fan of the shark fairing, but I do love the batwing so the new street glide is what I've been looking at differently. Very nice bikes indeed, but I'll still be sticking to the Low Rider ST. I actually prefer my bikes to be simple, which the Low Rider fits that bill. The baggers got all these bells and whistles with the infotainment systems and all that, too much electronics for my liking I think. But I'll never say never, maybe one day I'll come around lol
I think I'm with you at the end of the day especially for the simplicity factor - A lot of the modern gadgets in terms of the infotainment/speakers a truly lost on me, which is why I barely even mentioned them in this video
