Bobbery at B is criminal. He is the sole reason I beat the Shadow Queen. He has massive splash damage and is overall a great partner.
that's insane. I cannot imagine beating that boss with anybody but Vivian. And I imagine they gave the boss an attack that you need to Veil because they wanted Vivian to be the one facing the boss. She was supposed to be one of the Shadow Queen's disciples, but she changed sides in chapter 4.
I don’t know if Bobbery at B is criminal, but what is criminal is him being lower than Madame Flurrie. Flurrie is utter GARBAGE with ZERO attack power and EXPENSIVE moves that do NOTHING, I’m looking at you DODGEY FOG!!!
Bow's Outta Sight in 64 is functionally the same as Goombella's Rally Wink.
That's why they're the best partners in each game. They can dish out good damage themselves, and anything they can't damage, they can give their turn to Mario.
ironically ms. mowz may be the weakest partner in ttyd but she's the most useful against a certain super boss if you know

Baby Yoshi is my favorite in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door.

Every female partner in TTYD has a move that involves kissing.
Goombella: Rally Wink (It's called Support Kiss in Japanese, and all localizations except the English one) - She kisses Mario to give him an extra turn
Flurrie: Lip Lock - She kisses an enemy, draining its HP
Vivian: Infatuate - She blows kisses at the enemies, confusing them
And Ms. Mowz has two
Kiss Thief - She kisses an enemy to distract it so they can steal its item
Smooch - She kisses Mario to restore his HP
Vivian is and always has been non binary. It was only censored in NA until the remaster
Don't forget they all kissed mario
Ms Mowz being 1st, definitely deserves that #1 spot as the strongest best most powerful partner out there!

Goombella and Vivian are my #1 and 2 in TTYD, and Watt and Bow for the Original.
Yoshi Kid is a freaking best give him some power badges,Power Lift,and Power Punch and watch murder everything in seconds.He has some of the best multi hit moves in the game Stampede is basically a power bounce that hits all enemies.He can wipe out bosses and enemies very quickly.

Y’all should note when ranking Goombario his mult bonk is glitched normally both it and power bounce has a hidden cap to how many you can land. But multi bonk doesn’t reset the cap if you fail early causing the next one to fail possibly on the first jump. You can fix it by swapping him in and out tho or end of battle

This is a valid point. Kind of wish we could have gotten him earlier in the game.
Unironically Goombella was such a great support character, on the other hand with Koops he simply got over shadowed by the rest of the cast, mostly useful to obtain items and that’s it( the same for the mouse)
It’s funny that the only partner based on a preexisting species that’s a consistent ally to Mario is easily the strongest.
I agree with the idea of Baby Yoshi being the strongest, even though I’ve never played the game, I guess you can say the next generation is gonna be full of powerhouses. I like the idea that Koops is better than Kooper, though I can’t say the same for Goombella with Goombario, the former is a child friendly version of Miia from Monster Musume. Partners that I enjoy include Koops, Vivian, and Madame Flurry.

To those thinking Ms. Mowz is useless: You can actually steal items from enemies that don't appear to have one during battle.
All enemies have an "item pool" of possible items they can have, and if an enemy is NOT holding an item in battle, Ms. Mowz still has a chance (~20%) of stealing an item from them, which will be generated at random of the enemy's item pool (in the other 80% cases, she will steal coins). This includes badges! This can be very tedious since the chances of getting a badge are 2%, but you can use this to get multiple copies of a single badge for some ludicrous builds.
Yes, that doesn't make her a good partner, but many people don't know this
In my personal, Ms. Mowz is an interesting partner that many player don't know. Ms. Mowz is an interesting and prankster partner type with op basic attack move. Her Love slap is a piercing attack type. In both Paper Mario Ttyd GC ver and remake N.SW ver, piercing attack is an attacking that ignores enemy's defense even their buff defense itself and damage from piercing won't go down, it's an expected attacking and her Love slap doesn't use any FPs and it can combo with Charge P to increase attacking but can attack ground enemy in first front position, can't use flying enemy type, all-spiky body enemy type or charging-energy enemy like Puff type. Other Ms. Mowz move Kiss thief can steals enemy item that packs behind or badge it don't use a lot of FPs and Tease is very useful to disrupted enemy's accuracy and it can combo with Flower saver P badge to made this move use FPs just 2.

I agree with everything except the top 3, the best of them all is goombella, in that game partners can equip badges, and power bonk is just the best move in the game no doubt, 2nd is yoshi and 3rd is bow.

Paper Mario TTYD enemies/bosses: weak to powerful.
I never used Ms. Mowz as much as I had playing the remake. Sure, she’s weak, but when some enemies have armor, her pierce is really useful. Lol
Yea I always use her against chain chomps or prince mush, as well as the elite wizards at times.
bobbery is better than goombella and koops
He sure is a more fun character (pirate Bob-omb? Had a loving wife? Super cool!), but Koops does also pull off good spread damage - and they both offer incredible support.
But I don't write him off entirely! I've had plenty of fun using him in combat, too. He even ended up carrying against one of the superbosses due to his one-hit big damage.
I agree with Yoshi. I always keep him by my side (unless you have to use a different partner) and that Futter is useful and yoshi is cute and he is OP so that is why I agree with you Yoshi is OP Yoshi is needed and if you are getting star points Yoshi does that job easy so

Also this is already a long comment probably should have gotten more ideas but the possibilities are endless like think about the battles In paper Mario the thousand year door you don’t unlock Yoshi until world 3! Respect to Yoshi! So that is why most of the time I keep Yoshi by my side! And this is just the beginning! Yoshis moves are easy and if your like me who wants to beat the game and play it normally I always use the cute Dino Yoshi! Yoshi is not a sidekick!
Koops isn’t better than Kooper, you could just use items to protect, the dizzy shell is really useful to give more turns for support or offense, and the fire shell is great in chapter 7.

Ms. Mowz Is very underrated.
She's one of my favorites.
1. I love her personality.
2. She's helped a few times in battle with defeating a few enemies by using her Tease move or even stealing items or badges that can actually do some damage to both me and the partner I have out. Those Thunder Rages can really HURT.
3. The overworld is where she really shines. I found a LOT of hidden Star Pieces, some badges and especially hidden item/10 coin blocks.
Ms. Mowz is just a remarkable character.
Yes, she has her downsides but man, I'm thankful to have her knowing of the stuff she's good at.
Her personality is so narcissistic and annoying. In the overworld she is so useless I laugh at the developers. She says "there is something nearby" not even specifying what exactly it is. This means wherever you make her sniff she will allways say "there is something nearby" and its absolutely useless lmao.

Mowz may be the least useful partner of the bunch, except her ability to ignore defense makes her _supremely_ useful for a few enemies and bosses, _especially_ one particular superboss in the Switch.

Yoshi. avoids defense. does nice damage to 2 enemies at once. allows faster travel in overworld.
