Wonderful. So many times we are put to sleep with their choices of elevator and music box songs. Love to see them put some life and excitement into it.
So we have "Shout", "Sowing the Seeds of Love", "Everybody wants to rule the world" from Tears for Fears, "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell, "Fade to Grey" by Visage in a very interesting mix indeed. Are these mixes specially made for the competition or commercially available?
@@ladyj6278 And, some horses preform better with less. No hand = no distraction. I've had horses that WOULD NOT sidepass if you had both reins. Even though they were all trained by the same person, they liked different cues.
This specific form or category is called freestyle, they make up a whole routine and choose the music, and get technical and artistic points, the music is part of the presentation, and is graded. It is honestly very interesting because of how intricate the whole thing is done
I really can't help but feel like she designed the routine then just spliced pieces of music that fit each movement together. Seriously! A different score for each element? All together, it looked disjointed and neither horse or rider looked confident or relaxed.
Oh be quiet dont act like you can do this routine without looking like a flopping fish. You probably struggle to get near a horse considering you have no experience
@@feralfish9607 you're right, I do look like a floppy fish at times, but since losing some control over the left side of my body after having a stroke, I kinda feel like I have some justification for that. Before that, however, I did train and compete my horses extensively in dressage. If, however, you need more information about my personal life (since you seem to be a bit behind on your records) please feel free to contact me. I mean, I'd hate for you to post more comments about knowing more about my life than I do without having the most current and up to date info. Btw, whoever told you I've never been near a horse needs to be fired, and I'd try to get my money back if I were you. 35 years of training and showing, as well as a plethora of ribbons would seem to be in contrast with your false narrative of my life. One more thing. If possible, could you please tell me who made you the hall monitor of who could and could not post a comment on YT, that would be great. Germán Rivas It’s hard to tell from the video. If he is a Anglo Arab the anglo is definitely the more dominant side. If you google sprehe stallions they’re mostly Hanoverians and Holstein so I’m not sure. He is a stallion though.
@@harperm8782 Thanks, I've been reading a little about studbooks and apparently horses without a defined breed can compete if they reach the standards to be a sport horse, so it's likely that it's a "grade horse". Although, Anglo-Arabians only needs a minimum or so of Arabian blood of 12% or so to be considered Anglo-Arabian. Whatever it is, it's a gorgeous animal.
Someone needs to send these videos to those horse abusers down south that continue with those torture events they call Dixie lick. This is the way it’s supposed to be.
What was your favourite Olympic performance to music? Let us know in the comments and we will add them to a future #MusicMonday!
Kfexwxt
Aljona savcenko and Bruno massot
Marathon to Vangelis Chariots of Fire
Olympic Maia and Alex Shibutani’s free skate to Coldplay’s Paradise in the individual event final!!
Simona Peycheva’s 2004 Hoop and Evgenia Kanaeva’s 2008 Ribbon!
I love it how she gives the horse space and let his neck and head still move somehow naturally. That’s real sportsmanship 👍🏻
Julia S. Yes
Notice his head is in rhythm with the beat.

Everytime I put some "life" into my music the judges keep saying it's too harsh and not melodic.. what they want is Abba.
Yassss🤩

Usually the riders mix the music themselves, to make a perfect choreography. So I guess, you can't buy it. :)
They are usually made custom to the choreo and the horse and extremely expensive
Ciara, what is not expensive in equestrian world?😂
Seems like "Send Me an Angel" by Real Life is in there too. Pretty cool mix
@@lexiew7144 Also B-Movies Nowhere Girl is in there as well.

Why Rip?
@@ioanasicorschi9578 he died
Germany knows they had some of the best 80s music so it’s fitting they would do an 80s mix
Loved this ride...music was the best...both horse and rider have great talent.

Can someone explain to me why she took one of her hands off the reins while doing the piafe?

When the only hand is used, this means, that the rider is of Gross Master level.
