enjoyed it even more than the related against the clock video - really interesting how she explains her process... what a great way to learn, please more of this in the future!
Yes...whether it be in another 'sequel' episode like this or in the original video at the end, they need to show more often the track that was completed (or what of it was finished)! They should also have a webpage with all the finished tracks on, but eh thats just a suggestion *cough* FACT TV *cough*...
I love vintage synths but after spending a ton of time in the studio lately, I feel like the star of this video is the chair. That thing looks so comfortable!!! She is very talented and I love the track. Definitely going to start checking her music out.
Really enjoying seeing such studio insights, especially right after the artist's played. Gives a great feel of how they play. Is the mixer an APB Dynasonics? if so what model? Seems the same as the one in the PVH video and also seen in Marcel Fengler and Matthew Johnson studios.
steffi did you buy your microwave on 2010 from munich germany?? if yes that were mine. i sold mine to a woman from netherlands. could be you. iit seems to be mine. i wish i never sold that synth!!!!
Easily $100k. There are hidden costs in a studio like that. The acoustic treatment and cabling in the room could be 20k alone. Vintage analog stuff can be high. Minimoogs in good condition can be 8k.
Well she did make the whole track in 10 minutes. I notice with all of the artists who take the challenge that they have lots more ideas but just never the time to implement them. I think the people that take these challenges are awesome. What they are able to achieve in that time is great. I can achieve a lot in that time but never as good as these producers.Though I'm one of those people who will labor for half an hour on just getting a bass line or hi hat part perfect. I wish I could comment on the 10 minute challenge videos but comments are disabled. I understand the reason with comments like yours. Have a bit more of an open mind to what these people achieve in a very short time. I'm sure the artists would never think of putting the tracks on their albums but the ideas they get would be invaluable to them later on. Thanks to all the artists who take part. You all nail the challenge in my opinion whether you realise it Thanks to fact magazine also. I learn so much from the videos.
enjoyed it even more than the related against the clock video - really interesting how she explains her process... what a great way to learn, please more of this in the future!
Really cool. Would appreciate more of these "post ATC breakdown" style videos! This episode was one of the best for me. Thanks to FACT and Steffi

coolest mother award
More in the studio tours, i love hearing about the choices of gear and how they use them. Super fascinating.
By far the best episode of against the clock I've ever witnessed
I learn in 10 minutes more than in 1 year. Thx 💓💓💓
I love vintage synths but after spending a ton of time in the studio lately, I feel like the star of this video is the chair. That thing looks so comfortable!!! She is very talented and I love the track. Definitely going to start checking her music out.
It's an Ikea Markus chair. Just got one 😂😂😂
One of the best short studio/gear talkthroughs. I really enjoyed it - thanks.
"909, obviously."
Just about a perfectly curated selection of gear in Steffi's studio. Couldnt ask for much more.
amazing choice of gear..good music
Great accompaniment to the ATC episode. Please do more of these!
My god what a blessing that the 909th like was mine haha
Traumhaftes Studio. Alles da. Schön viel analoges Zeugs. Und sie (Steffi) ist sehr sympathisch.
So awesome. Love how relaxed her approach is. Something to keep in mind. Thanks Steffi!
The Ult Sound DS-4 Custom is fantastic!
that was rad. turned into a nice groove. lush sounding too.
This track is Soooo sick... Driving, Changing, picking up☝
You know you really made it when you like to use your Minimoog just for some basic drumsounds! :)
this multiplied the awesomeness of the atc by 1000
Studio set up is amazing
Thank you for watching! *literally the awkward seal face*
Awesome track and what an awesome studio! :) I love the build up on this track!
works really well talking over that beat ^^ fits the track hah
She knows her shit and uses a hardware sequencer
Loving that Cirklon clock.
punch in the face of the ignorants dissing her ATC sesh for being basic. Sit and learn how much it takes to leverage this sound
mishpult Even though it's much harder to work with analog sounds in a big studio, i could produce this real quick in Ableton
I'm very happy for you, I have never used a daw and I have great respect for those who are good in it.
epicloffchris interested to know how you'd produce the sound of a Pearl Syncussion and a Waldorf Microwave in Abelton?
epicloffchris but this is not about you ...is it?
😆 Amateurs/Egos
this was my gift for today :) cheers fact
Thanks for this video 👍
que barbaridad de equipo...
Loved it Steffi !
She's a legend 😎😍
Does anyone know what the brightly coloured programmer device is that she's using for the Waldorf Microwave?
Kiwitechnics patch editor
Thank you very much
What is your desk ?
I search for this kind of stuff which let you have the mixer console in front of you and the screen..
Really enjoying seeing such studio insights, especially right after the artist's played. Gives a great feel of how they play. Is the mixer an APB Dynasonics? if so what model? Seems the same as the one in the PVH video and also seen in Marcel Fengler and Matthew Johnson studios.
She has a great sound.
thats a great set-up, I am curious though why she didn't multi-track the song. Love the DX200 btw.
I think it's because she's sequencing the separate tracks within the Cirklon and using the DAW to record a stereo master for the purposes of ATC
yrsongs oh okay thx.
you got the dx200!!!! when do you use it for?
Thank you FACT :)
C I R K L O N L U S T...
all i wanna know is did she wire all this
Daniel Reno patchbays and easy routing :)
This is probably my favorite collection of synths.

She run to big techno labels sold over 200000 recourds
Sorry, had to turn 808 likes into 809 likes 😏
Is your chair from Ikea? :)
what is that processing that the strings is going thru at 9:00? love that glitchy effect.
She tweaked the wavetable
awesome
steffi did you buy your microwave on 2010 from munich germany?? if yes that were mine. i sold mine to a woman from netherlands. could be you. iit seems to be mine. i wish i never sold that synth!!!!

that's like $20k+ of gear
Easily $100k. There are hidden costs in a studio like that. The acoustic treatment and cabling in the room could be 20k alone. Vintage analog stuff can be high. Minimoogs in good condition can be 8k.
Raw Vegan Rising Plus keeping the gear serviced, synths tuned, etc

Isn't the point of these to see the producer in action? It's nice she broke it down, but boring to watch.
killertrashbag she already did a race against the clock session. You should watch that.
This is a follow up video to the original Against The Clock episode where she creates this track in 10 minutes.
Copy, thank you. I'll check it out
ppl cmon! i dont know what do women in this studio. SHe do nothing
