  • Imjin Barracks is benefiting from new high-quality, energy efficient homes for service families, with the first of 176 new carbon net zero homes in Gloucestershire nearly ready for military families. The homes were purchased from Taylor Wimpey as part of a £78m deal through the Defence Infrastructure Organisation’s Capital Purchase Programme and will support soldiers and their families based at Imjin Barracks.

They would never be able to save a £68000 mortgage on soldier wages.
    These homes are 100% necessary.
I don't accuse the MOD here in this mental economy.
    This is positive.
Homes for civilians will not be such an easy fix though.

The British Army has had a bad reputation between 1880 to 1945. The bad reputation of larceny, racism, misrepresentation of the founding fathers, and deceits.
It's time to focus on the younger generation to do something which will remove the past of 1865 to 1945. The American Civil War of 1860 to 1865 originated from England. The American revolution in the 1770s also originated from England. What can you do in justifying those past? The Ukrainian war is contributed by the UK military costing more billions of money and prolonging the war that isn't yours.

What an utter load of pig swill with nothing to do with the subject at hand i.e. Housing for our forces families.
You start with 1880-1945 then change it to 1865-1945?? Then skip 80 yrs and go on about a younger generation for some reason.
The US revolution started with the UK??...well of course it did....it was UK colonies rebelling against the UK gov....nothing to do with the army.
The US civil war was an internal conflict which the UK gov had nothing to do with, other than not recognizing the confederacy.
The UKrainian conflict started years ago when Russia invaded the crimea....I know we have a powerful military, but i dont think we can force the russians to invade. Yes we supply arms and aid to UKr....like alot of others do aswell.
I dont have to justify anything, its the past, whats done is done. What good would it do to comment on something I, nor my family 5 generations back, had anything to do with.
You seem to think the army runs the gov.....its the other way round.
