Olli knows what the Prototype looks like 'cause he says, "Wail until you see the real thing." Honestly, the way he says it comes a cross a little excited to me, making me wonder if he is evil and just pretending to help us. Either he is good as is Poppy, he's just a voice the Prototype uses to lure us deeper into the factory, or he as well as Poppy is on the Prototype's side, and will reveal this in the end. Plus there's the new call from him where after defeating CatNap, he says that, "We've made our choice." Again, the way he says that to me sounded a little frustrated or annoyed, like there's something more to Olli we don't know yet.
Anyone else find it strange there was a "freak accident" with a grabpack when Theo tried using it to escape? My theory is that the prototype didnt plan on escaping that day. He sabotaged the grabpack (we know hes good with tech and engineering), knowing the next large toy planned to be made was the giant catnap with gas ability. The prototype groomed Theo, gaining the trust of the lonely orphan so that he could use him. When theo was electrocuted, the prototype brought him to the staff, knowing the only way to save him would be by putting him into the toy that was ready to have a human put in. he then used catnap to convince as many of the other toys to join the cause of the hour of joy, using promises of freedom, as suggested in the song MOB released. I dont think hes good or evil, i think its way more gray then that. Once certain situations are created, they cant be resolved without sacrifice. I think the prototype is thinking more logically than emotionally. He wants everyone to have freedom. But knows they cant ever have normal lives, they cant leave the factory. The freedom of the staff members and company was the best he could do for them all, including himself. He had a long time to think this all through. Did he plan on using theo from the start? Was it opportunistic or did he select Theo on purpose? I also think the toy escapes were practice, lead by the prototype to test how the staff would react and learn their protocols. This is how they would have success during the hour of joy.
Don’t forget, we’ve heard his voice already! In the project playtime, and in chapter 3! His voice in project playtime is direct, aggressive and villainous as we expected, however it changes to be a form of mimic behavior in chapter 3 when he spoke on tape. If prototypes beefing up to fight an even bigger beast in the depths, could it be possible that the jack cameo hinted to it by mentioning the creature with “ a thousand legs “ you could say it was Pj but he doesn’t have that many legs the more you look into his design, and the fact that it looks more like a “monster” then some form of toy designed by the company, even to a point where one of the higher ups shut him down after learning that he hadn’t told anyone about it- hinting that there may be a larger creature out there in the depths besides the prototype to worry about.
So it seem suggesting by most everyone that The Prototype (Experiment 1006) is actually the hero of the story. Sure he have saved the kids and liberated the Toys from Playtime Co.'s inhumane experiments. But, when I looked at it deeper, I realized that The Prototype is anything but a hero. He´s a manipulative monster who has brainwashed countless Toys into thinking that he´s their savior all while he tasks his followers with disposing of anyone who opposes him. By the time of the main game the factory has descended into almost a lifeless factory. So let´s break it down why The Prototype (Experiment 1006) isn't a hero. Firstly, for acknowledgment sake, yes he aims to stop the Bigger Bodies Initiative and was the mastermind behind "the Hour Of Joy" when all the Toys rebelled against Playtime Co. staff, but at what cost? The Prototype has created a system where, in order to survive for just one more day, the Toys have to kill and eat each other in a survival of the fittest mentality, with the majority losing their humanity in the process (see Huggy or Mommy Long Legs). As the time The Player arrived most of the Toys are dead while some are losing their sanity. Then we have the fact that it seem that The Prototype is keeping all The Toys from escaping the facility. So why Experiment 1006 is keeping the toys trapped inside? Also what happened to the childrens who were in the Facility? Who witnesses the massacre of Hour of Joy? None of the toys seem concerned about their whereabouts. So much for caring about the children am I right? We also see that the factory itself is in a really bad shape. In a decade without any maintenance the building is on the verge of collapse and sooner than later it WILL bury everyone like a giant tomb. The Toys are just waiting for their imminent demise, their remaining days spent aimlessly wandering around the factory that they hate. Yet the Prototype doesn´t really seem to care. Also if Experiment 1006 is truly benevolent, then why does Mommy Long Legs treat him with such fear in the ending of Chapter 2? So I don't know about you, but does seem that Experiment 1006 is a cruel and sociopath being. Did I missed something else?

My initial thought when it was mentioned that the prototype may potentially use a grab pack on us, was that is possibly why he is building a body in the first place. You can't wear a grab pack with just an arm.
What I find interesting about the prototype is it seems to be able to mimic voices, since it repeated back to the scientist the same thing the scientist said to him in his voice.

What if we are her? "Re-Exploring" Our old home. The prototype thanking the scientist, to me felt less like the scientist was rubbing off and more like getting confirmation for the hour of joy. What I mean is that the prototype wanted to hear from their own mouths how corrupted they are, so that not only could he feel better knowing he was killing monsters, but to let the rest of the toys hear it too.
That makes sense. I've had a theory for a while that the way the prototype communicates is a recording device. We know they were unsuccessful with matching up the voice boxes and other senses in the beginning. We know the prototype mimicks others to communicate. Obviously with his tech skills he could design something that records and then plays back in any order he wants. Also he's thanking him after the scientist explains that the ends justify the means and he gets closer every day, which might not be the scientist rubbing off, but he maybe this is where he learns he needs to act soon. This could also send a sense of urgency to they other toys if they hear, and help them feel less guilty about what they have to do. Though it is also theorised that the prototype can communicate telepathically, so if that's true he could have been broadcasting to that conversation live
It was his way of saying "i dont have to feel bad for you either when i kill you all" at the same time it might had been his way of taunting/threatening the scientist because judging by their actions and recordings, these guys seriousky understimate and arent conscious of what theyre dealing with. They treat with total disrespect and lack of fear beings that are basically bio weapons, and that they seen what they could do and had done when they escaped and rebelled in other incidents, yet it almost feels like they keep poking the caged bear with a short stick with the way we saw how they refered to them. See the Catnap recording for example, how the other staff just rudely told him to suck up and accept his misery.

I wouldnt doubt she might betray us ultimately, it felt like that in chap 2 already but then they hit us with a double twist but then again she was sounding awfully menancing back in the train ride even if she got cut off before she could finish talking. But at the same time i dont think hitting us with a triple twist specially after everything will feel good.
