I just recently became obsessed with Monsta X & I’ve done some sleuthing because I didn’t understand a lot of their older MVs…but basically MX has a time travel concept going on that started with Hyungwon was in a car accident and his parents died so he tries to go back into time via the time travel watch to save them but in doing so he messes up the time line and all the members are separated and spaced out across different timelines so different MVs show Hyungwon going back into various timelines to try get all the members back into the same time continuum & I think Kiss or Death MV is part of that story line where he’s still trying to fix the timeline and get all the members back together in the one space and time.
All About Luv album: They're bachelors.
Fantasia: They're Outlaws.
Love Killa: They're villain.
Gambler: They're spies/Secret Agents.
Kiss or Death: They're Time Travelers.
MX new music project: They'll be music GODS. Why not🤭
That's the neat thing about MX, they build narratives through every new music project. Other kpop music artists does that too but MX does it better than everyone else in kpop.
This ties into their Time Travel storyline. Check out some of their older MVs and it'll crop up.
Also, Breeze, I feel you. Hyungwon is my bias and he always comes for my throat! It's amazing.
