Great video Roy! The War of 1812 sailors looked good but not as sharp as you in your Civil War uniform especially armed with a revolver and cutlass. I love the Marine too. Nice touch!

@@henry6644 It seems like it will be mostly living history, but there will be skirmish reenactments on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Kernstown Battlefield is in Winchester, Virginia.
@@henry6644 If you are able to drop in, that would be fun. You would be able to wear your uniform. Spectators are admitted free, I believe. I will be the regimental bugler for the Federal side.

Hi Roy, I don’t know if you remember me but are you going to the Gettysburg reenactment?
Oh yes, very good to hear from you. Yes, I will be at the Battle of Gettysburg reenactment this coming weekend at the Daniel Lady Farm. I will be the bugler for the 2nd Regiment Federal Volunteer Brigade (FVB), and I will be setting up my field music tent near the FVB Headquarters. Do you plan to come to the reenactment perhaps?
By the way, I will be marching in the Fairfax Parade tomorrow (July 4th). The parade starts at 10am, and I'll be near the front of the parade playing bagpipes in my World War I uniform.
@@mr.roywulf ok thank you this is my first year of civil war reenacting and I’m very excited, I will be attending the 161st battle of Gettysburg with my dad we are not officially a part of a unit yet
@@henry6644 Ah, that's wonderful. Please feel free to visit the 1st Pennsylvania Reserve Co. D (part of the Federal Volunteer Brigade - FBV). They are commanded by Kyle Sabol. First Sergeant Farmer would also be good to talk to as well. Tell them Roy Wulf sent you! That's my home unit, and the people in that unit are outstanding. Please seek me out at the reenactment and introduce yourself! It would be great to meet you in person.
