Bro that's a really good one, solid play. What are the effects used in the funky part called tho ? I'm kinda new to playing so I don't really know what to look for in my DAW. Thanks in advance for the reply.
Hello! During the slap part I don't really use much, just a preamp that boost high mids a little and a cab sim to give more presence to the bass, For the entire first half of the song I used a distortion preset in the Darkglass Ultra plugin.
How long you been playing? I just started a year and half ago and just got my left hand back after breaking my index and middle fingers. My index is now permanently hooked but at least its the right way for playing the bass!
Hello! Imagine that you have a bass with standard tuning (G D A E B) you only need to lower each string half step and you will be like this: F# C# G# D# A#, I hope I have helped you ;)
No, he reversed the strings in the notation. Each string is tuned a half step down (B to A#/Bb, E to D#/Eb, etc.). You can do it with a regular 45-130 set if properly set up.
maaaaan, i was searching for this tab for a long time. Thanks a lot, you are awesome, and this video is great.

@@basstabswithallb OH OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND😭 I usually go by B E A D G but it was backwards sorry lol
How can I create a tone similar to this? Is it more a question of equalization or strings tuned down?
cool video what string gauges are you using? and to be clear when you say F# do you mean tuned 7 steps lower than would normally be a B on a 5 string?

Hello! The tuning for this song is just 1/2 step down on regular 5 string bass, I use regular gauge strings on my basses (045 to 125)
