Star Wars Legion: Gar Saxon Unit Breakdown with Lists

Hey guys, I wanted to explain a little more on Gar Saxon and the fact that he's pretty flexible on how you can play him. How you SHOULD play him has yet to really be realized. So I just wanted to try out some different lists with him up close and far away. Let me know what you guys think and what your thoughts are. This is actually what I’m currently working on playing
I left Rook off but I think she need to be there, left her off for more shields. I don’t actually know if that’s a better play or not…
So 4 mando
As we have talked, this has been my goal. I want it and I really think it can be done and be good. This list is nearly identical to what I’m trying to put together and I’ll be playing it in a couple weeks if nothing goes wrong.

Hell yea man! I think it has such great potential, especially with the speed. You could be better off with more shields, I guess it depends on if there's a lot of cover or not. If you think there is going to be lots of cover, go with rook. If you think you might play a little more exposed, I'm sure shields are a better choice. The real thing is you just gotta test it out a few times to see how well it works against other lists. But I'm excited for 5 Mandos on the table, including Saxon, bc the speed and agility plus the red surge saves are incredible. Let me know how your game goes!! And thanks a lot! So, I've noticed a lot of people don't like to use the black sun units

I agree. I'm more for pykes. I think the black sun is just too expensive. The pykes are easier to handle and their heavies are better. Which ones do you like?

@@Haxi_The_Jester well hopefully you fall in love with the shadow collective and use Saxon a lot. I know I plan on it
