Dude, sometimes I just like to take a step back, grab my coffee mug, look to the vast blue sky and appreciate humanity. What a great time to be alive! Thanks for being part of this awesomeness.
Thank you for all the content you are putting on youtube brotha! Im studying to pass the AWS SA exam now and i plan on using all of your videos to help me be a better developer and as a study tool. I am and have been network engineer now for about 9 years and shifting towards the cloud because i want to be able to work more remote and the tech is just exciting honestly so im hoping this will provide that fresh new opportunity. Keep up the great content man!
Hi Fredrick, I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful. I think its a great time to shift towards the cloud especially for someone who already has a technical background like yourself. Kudos on that decision. Thank you again for the kind words and good luck on your exam and training! Daniel
Ha this is is dope. I clicked on this video to refresh on SNS..And I see that I wrote this 2 years ago.. I did pass that exam and am currently working as a Cloud Engineer. Fully remote and always learning something new and solving new problems..Thanks again for the info you put out!
It's great that you mentioned the 2 flavors Application to Person and Application to Application. Many tutorials miss out on that and makes things confusing by saying that it can be used to get stuff at different types of end points. As always great video, always appreciate the knowledge you share!
I differ about the guarantees of delivery. If a message is published and a consumer is not live the message for that consumer is lost and not re-sent again when it comes back online
I am new to SNS and I am trying to use SNS by combining it with other AWS services like lambda to send an email object to the desired endpoint. As I understand it, I am unable to render an HTML object directly in an SNS-broadcasted message. Can you shed some light on how I can go about doing this?
Great video but quick question - when talking about application-to-person, you mentioned that we need to create a new subscription for each subscriber. There were only 3 subscribers so we'd only need to create 3 subscriptions. What happens if there are a million subscribers? Do we need to manually create a million subscriptions?
