This knocks me over every time. It’s amazing really. Around 35 seconds in Ben Nichols has a guitar catastrophe. Something goes sideways and his guitar drops out of tune. But he keeps performing like a pro, and the band carry the song. And then, around 1:14, the guitarist starts giving him a note to tune into, all while the carrying on with the song. That’s tight!
This is such a great film (Dreaming in America), and yeah first time I saw Lucero was a little dissapointed in the lack of a mullet. I should be getting their other DVD Bright Stars on Lonesome Nights in the mail any day now.
One of the best band I've ever seen live. The energy from the crowd and band will blow the roof off!
