I hope they continue past the 12 episode, the series is so good and the manga has a lot of character development so I'm reaaaaaly hoping they continue it.
There was a small mistake. Gyokuyou herself didn't use the powder but it was the baby's wet nurse. That is why she wasn't sick while Lihua who herself was using the powder was sick.
So the reason that Lihua's son died wasnt because the information didn't get there on time, it's because Lihua's lady in waiting thought that she would want to continue using it to make her and her baby beautiful. The lady in waiting thought the poison was just a lie.
