I wouldn’t think birth weight is linked to future weight gains have seen small light calves take off and fine big calves be average different traits to different bulls. Now I don’t want overly light calves maybe easier calved but can be week

Do you have an expected calf weight and is that weight an indicator of future performance relating to weight gain over time or conversion efficiency ?

Do u vaccinate against crypto or have any troubles with it during calving?
Ya we vaccinated the cows do it every year had a problem a few years ago have very few problems now if any some years
