Im still scratching my head, as I try to figure out why he hasn't been inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. That makes absolutely NO SENSE to me, in light of the Hall committee, inducting people like Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and Marvin Gaye....all of them HUGE record sellers. But the truth of the matter, was that the one and only Barry White was the first black performer to have record sales, eclipsing 100 million copies...him and Elton John, were the first two to do it. So, that made Barry the first American born person to do it..as well, as being the first black person to do it. His legacy and body of work, are just jaw dropping.
