this is only part ONE of my japan/korea trip and i have a feeling this series might be a bit longer than i expected...
i travelled 16 hours from new york city to tokyo and boy did i eat and eat and eat (gotta get the most out of it, right???) i absolutely loved and enjoyed my time in japan!! the food is amazing as expected, it's so tourist friendly and i honestly wish we spent more time here. i know that for next time i want to visit cities other than tokyo too like kyoto, osaka, etc.
quick trip!! but lots of content - we did a lot of random shopping, cafe hopping (including coffee and matcha), and a lot of restaurant searching too
this video is really only days 1 and half of 2 of my time in japan, so we're just getting started hehehheh

some notes on my dji osmo pocket 3:
i got my camera from bic camera in shibuya! there's a bunch of locations but i'm pretty sure the pricing should all be similar. i got my camera for about 90,000 yen, i'm blanking on the exact amount. but when converting this to usd it was around $620 at the time that i got it. i also got the camera tax free! so i ended up saving about a little less than $100, which is greaaat.
my only caveat is that some of the instructions and set up processes started in japan, so be aware of that! but the sales people assured me they were giving me the english version of the camera, so ask for that option just to be sure.
i.e. for other cameras like the sony zv-1 m2, the camera was actually more expensive than in the US, and they had no english version available, so just some tidbits to keep in mind if interested in purchasing overseas!! i was lucky enough to have gotten a lil bit of discount from buying in japan, and i'm super happy i did!

How much was the Dji osmo camera from BIC?
i got my dji osmo pocket 3 for $620 USD (about 90,000 yen at the time) without tax from BIC. here in NYC it currently costs $669+tax at any camera store, so I think I saved around $100 by purchasing in japan! i hope this helps!!
@@jamietlee I see, thank you! I thought of getting it in Japan when I travel there in November. But comparing the price to where I am from (Malaysia), I can get it at RM2,299 here while the one you purchase is for around RM2,700. So I am surprised that it is cheaper in Malaysia than in Japan :O
