Looks great on grass but yes it took a long time to lift off. Maybe a AOA issue too. you fly it tight, but she handles it great! i will try my inverted flight soon, i want to make should my RX and BEC pack are strapped down! BH is taking pre-orders for the turbine version of the new T-45,hoping the edf version will be around June too!
You are correct. But it is the wheel drag/friction from the grass that is causing the nose gear to compress, thus lowering the AOA. the grass here is like a taking off on a sponge:)

Question about the batteries and flight times. Do you think the Spektrum 6s 7000 would fit? From your videos, it looks like its not possible to get more than 3-4 mins of flight time, regardless?

Rich- what throttle speed are u flying at? I have the same L39 JP set up and find that it needs WOT for any decent speed... let me know... I am on a pair of 60c 6500 Lipo's.

Love this jet, but I fly off a somewhat bumpy grass field. Are this ok for grass all the time? Any concerns on the intake on bottom for grass flight?
Haven’t have any problems myself or heard of anybody else having any :) it’s a fantastic jet you definitely won’t regret buying one if you get one:)

I’ve bought one off these but I’m really nervous to fly it. Mainly cause my landings suck, in your opinion with the flaps down can this be dead sticked/glided in with no power
Have you flown other models? It's an easy plane to fly and land, but it also requires some prior experience.
Yes I have flown other models/ jets, but even with over 6 years of flying I can never get the hang of having to feather some throttle on landing. I mean I am do it just not very well haha
