I thought the kids already had my attention in the first few episodes, and then BANG, their parents come in with insane chemistry and storyline. This is such a detailed drama with the storytelling so engaging that you feel you're in their timeline even as a viewer. I also love the fact that it isn't just like any other cliched romantic drama, it has SO MUCH MORE in it. Didn't expect much from the drama before it's release, now it's easily one of the best dramas I've watched this year. Lover this edit btw ! I hope you do one for the whole drama overall !
yeah, most of the dramas follow a single story line and center around the main characters (sometimes only the main couples), and you can even skip/fast forward without missing anything significant. this drama is so dynamic and packed with so many substances you have to watch everything. I like series that do not focus on just one or two characters.
Somehow watching this drama feels like watching harry potter movies.. the scenes with the young actors are so fun..but when you watch the story of the parents, you realize how great the older actors are and why they are an A listers..
There's just too much sadness in their storyline 😭😭 The fact that she had to become a single mom on hiding.. and she can't explain why she's cutting her son wings and she can't properly teach him how to use it wisely either... their kid also grew up without his dad and having him around would have changed everything for him regarding his power and confidence... Lastly the dad just being separated from the family, without any news about them for years.. missing his son growing old. He left and his son was still a child.. now he's a senior on highschool. No confirmation whatsoever that they would ever reunite... but still she waits for him with her rooftop floor painted in purple and big neon sign Namsan Tonkasu 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think this drama's already steadily becoming one of my favourites. Thank you for capturing the beauty in this relationship the way you have here. I found myself tearing up by the end. ♡
Something hits different with these veteran actors... The young acting talents are promising in their own ways... But these veterans just bring something special to the way they portray their roles... The parents' set(DooshikxMihyun & JuwonxJihee) love stories is sad, marked by long separation vs short moments of happiness, please let them all be happy at the end.
The look at his face when he had to shoot. Betrayal, love and pain all mixed. Zo In Sung was great in that scene. Love is not loud... Love speaks through our eyes. I love them so much, Uri Doo Shik and Min Hyun ❤️ And... Min Hyun is still waiting for him.
