However; before you leave the company sends you an email to sign. It makes the company not liable for any costs you incur in travel for the interview. You sue the company because they are "trying" to not hire you.
Another step further. Let's say part of the interview process for a T-shirt designer is to draw several circles. You hurt your finger. You sue the company, again, for hurting your finger during the interview.
There are reasons why companies protect themselves from incidents like these. You need to bullet proof yourself when it comes to signing contracts. That is part of the reason lawyers make money. If you want to be a lawyer, you better like reading.
From my observations---Max continues to pursue an agenda which is the following: White (apparently only United States Rich Caucasians) people do not care about black people and take advantage of them at every corner. So when it comes to ANY issue in regards to race, Max becomes a doctorate (JD, PHD, MD) in whatever issue and puts a little nice touch of white privilege and white guilt into it. He becomes the PC principal. One paragraph that protects the NFL from the past lawsuit makes complete sense. I'm giving you a very small and somewhat crazy chance. But don't sue me again. I'm going to put in a clause that says I don't have to hire you just because we invited you for a position.
