I’ve spoken about this issue a few times before, but I would like to bring it up again because of this episode. Doing reaction videos take away a bit of investment/ understanding in what you’re watching. Because of this, I sometimes deep down regret getting a half experience of a show by doing a reaction rather than watching privately. When I watched this for a second time alone I was able to analyze and appreciate this episode so much more than I could have before. Paddy Considine is absolutely brilliant and I believe this to be the best episode of the series so far. I dare say this is one of the best episodes I have seen ever put to screen. The emotions were incredible and in a natural setting I can more easily let my own run wild, so this episode really had them stirring while reacting but even more so on my second viewing. I just have to say that I pray this level of excellence continues in the show going forward especially with the loss of Paddy Considine and the show runner Miguel Sapochnik. Thank you for reading :)

Daemon's "Dark Sister" is no Needle LOL!
Aemond is a lot like Daemon in many aspects. The only differences are that Aemond isn’t nearly as reckless or a obnoxious as Daemon. Aemond is very cold and calculated and acts only when provoked. Aemond is now in the top tier of physical prowess, contending with the likes of Criston and Daemon. He definitely respects Daemon as a warrior, but he isn’t scarred of him and he would not back down from a fight if provoked. Funny how Lucerys laughed at Aemond because of the pig joke, so Aemond made a joke of his own, knowing the ‘Strong’ boys would attack him. He didn’t eat or drink anything at the dinner because he doesn’t break bread with the enemy. Aemond has been wanting revenge for 6 years and was waiting all night for an opportunity to end the so called peace that was made between the families. I still like Daemon better, but Aemond is definitely someone to fear if you’re his enemy.
Yeah the way I saw Aemond take that punch to the face like it was nothing then just push Jace down with one hand I kinda thought shit he’s grown up. I’m excited to see more of him, I have a feeling (from a non-book readers standpoint) that he is going to be a problem.
I mean, what do you mean lmao? How can you say Aemond is not as obnoxious or reckless? Are you just referencing this episode but not the book? Storms end situation is approaching fairly quickly..

I've read that the crown moment was an accident and that their performances were improvised because it wasn't in the script. True performers, in my opinion, actually excel at their job regardless of the situation, and their performance merits recognition. I have to say that I was also affected when Paddy made the dramatic journey to the throne in support of his daughter, assisted by his brother. I was deeply touched and moved by it.
Daemon is 51 I think. Btw Daemon has always loved his brother.
