- Not sure if this one is worth posting, i feel a little out of practice and i'm not sure i like the mix very much.
Anyhow, i like this song :) It's got that really nice 3/4 polyrhythm running through the choruses, and it's pretty fun to play.
Just wanna say, it seems like every year I come back to this video ever since i first saw it 10 years ago. You're the one that showed me katatonia and ended up being one of my favorite bands. This cover is unreal and so well done that I still think about it all these years later.

I agree with the mix thing, can't hear your ghosting so well and I think the groove is one of DL's greatest drumming attributes so would be keen to hear that reflected in your cover.

@zinnful you're right, just a plain old K Custom Ride. Probably the best bell of any ride cymbal i've played, i love how it just cuts through.

Man, I like your drumming. Nice stick control; better than mine. I just saw your first video and then this. Big progress. But I see one big mistake you still make. Try not to hold your sticks so far back. I've been playing the drums for nearly 15 years now, and I still make this mistake. Just recently I've noticed that it makes your drumming a lot more comfortable. Much less cramps when playing heavy stuff (which you obviously like). :-) Have fun!!

Kick sounds really good. I agree it may be up a tad high though.
@MikePostDrums That's cool man. Have you tried playing Tool at all? I really get inspired by Danny Carey's use of the hi-hat. Especially in songs like "Sober", "Undertow", and the breakdown on "Eulogy".

@MikePostDrums try ghosting the odd notes. Essentially the hat is just played even only on that part.
I think the kicks are a little too high, but otherwise the mix is fine. the playing is great as usual :p

You're adding in a little more intricacy, the Katatonia drummer plays it more straightforward. You're parts still work great though!
