In body language theory, that finger gesture means something. I'm not 100% sure but if I remember correctly, I think it means that you're trying to articulate yourself clearly, accurately and to the point, really concentrating on your words. Kinda like your "picking" the word carefully between your two fingers. I don't think it's a bad thing if you continue doing it :) (unless you're in Russia where I've read it's a symbol for "butt hole"?? lol!)
