The one with the dogs is a terrifying situation. People need to understand the danger they put equestrians in when they let their dogs off the leash. Sorry I love my dog offleash but he can stay on the leash in public parks
So agree. As a dog owner who ALWAYS has her dogs on leash in public places, regardless of how lax any neighborhood might be, this just makes my blood BOIL to see things like this. Yeah, you may have the best dogs in the world, but guess what--they're DOGS! They literally don't know any better, it is on the handler to have them on a leash. Other people have a right to use public spaces unencumbered. Urgh, I hope the horses were alright.
@Margot Cavanaugh The horses werent all fine, one of the dogs bit one of the horses in the leg. That horse needed a vet and it was quite a big bill sadly..
yesterday I and my dad went on a walk with the dogs(a lab and spitz )(WHEN I SAY MY DOG I MEAN THE LAB) and my dog is like a lab but can be a beast in fights, so we were walking and did not bring a stick with us(my job was to pick the shit up so I forgot to take the stick ) and a dog with a harness and leash came up my spitz started barking and then the other dog came growled and showed teeth my dog nipped him and a fight started and the owner to the other dog came and he was just showing his stick and waving it. I was so mad at that point from this shit it pulled my dog back by the neck and scared the other dog away and that guy started talking to his dog. I absolutely hate these type of people. It was a dark ally with a dark park and roads so mossy and wet from the downpour that I was slipping a few times in my flat soul leather slipper I wish I threw it at the owner.

@@Alpha-up3mo What are you on about sweetheart? The horse is fine now, yes, but it causes trauma. And the owner had to pay for the damage caused by the dogs. The dog didnt "nip" the horse, it full on bit it on the hind leg. Horses can be real narly in fights, but they do not fight eachother unless put in a situations where its neccesery, and normal tame horses are very rearly in those situations. The owner need to train his/her dogs before even thinking about letting them loose on walks. Horse owner should not be the one having to pay for the dog owners mistake and the horses were put in a dangerous situation when it could have been easily prevented.

anyone else notices that the issue was also with the rider as she had TIGHT reins with a bit in the horse mouth not letting him do what he needs to do and behaving like she knows what to do but does not in reality. Then blames in everyone else. (there is a little fault on the dog owner's side too)

It's taxidermy. It's a real horse skin from someone's deceased pet that they had mounted. That's why it looks so "real"

You know what annoys me the most, when you’re riding on a *horse* trail that there is no dogs allowed, and someone brings their dog to walk it there and then *boom* they get mad at you if something happens or if you ask them to hold their dog😫

you know what annoys me when people see my gates without locks on them and assume they can ride their horses in my pastures then get pissed and video when my dogs scare theyre horses theyre 110 and 120 lbs wolf dogs that are trained like military dogs their soul purpose is to gaurd livestock they don't tolerate strangers theyve never hurt a horse just scared them
Let's all repeat this: dogs must be leashed at all times unless perfectly trained to stay away from others! You can never have a situation fully under control. There might be wild animals, pets, dogs, horses around. There could also be people who are afraid and (which no one seems to understand) there are people with mobility issues or other health issues that CANNOT afford to be pushed or scared or whatnot by an unleashed dog! Be responsible. People and animals can't end up injured or dead just because you like to watch your dog running. There are dedicated places for that.

My horse hates dogs and it’s because of my aunts dog who tries to herd them, now whenever a dog is even in the vicinity my horse gets ready to kick out
there's a video somewhere of my dog attacking a girl and horse where i was portrayed as a bad person in reality they let themselves onto private property that i owned and just decided that was ok they're super lucky Sarge and Bullet were only on restrain command what it didn't shoow you was thirty minutes of me telling them this is private property and to get off if it all it showed was them screaming call your dogs at me while sarge grabbed the first girl and bullet was after the other don't always assume the Equestrians are in the right (im an Equestrian and not saying that video was ok at all)

The one with the dogs is so frustrating because so many things can go wrong, all because someone can't keep their dogs on a leash if not trained right.
When my mum was younger she had a dog she's bought a few months back and it wasn't very well trained and would chase the horses. So mum wouldn't let the dog into the paddock unsupervised, but it got in one day through a hole another dog has dug under the fence. Mum noticed, ran over to the paddock to call the dog back but obviously it wasn't paying attention. Dog got kicked in the head, yelped and ran all the way across the paddock straight to my mum's arms and died.
Saddest shit ever.

I've loved horses my entire life. Being military we moved a lot when I was growing up so it just wasn't feasible for me to have a horse. I'm 70 now and have lots of arthritis so I can't ride. I so love seeing anything about horses. So happy I found Dream Horses!

The dog one was so dangerous, people can be so crazy. Dogs can be killed and they can permanently injure horses; one of my family’s horses was bitten by a dog and she’ll ever be sound again. Just yesterday I was riding and people let their dogs run around the horses while filming them. It’s just a horrible idea for everyone involved,

The dog one, I mean like, when a rider is panicking and telling you to call your dogs, you better fucking get your dogs. My neighbors have this dog and we had our mares in our field and their dog ran out there and started chasing after the mares and got kicked. Sorry, she deserved it! (I’m a dog lover, but horses come first!!!)

@@NeonJJ_195 Had a stallion that chased dogs and cars. We tried to have him trained to pull carts... but after he put the training cart in the ditch chasing a car, we decided to train one of the mares instead. Though it was kind of funny to watch him run up and down the field when a car drove by.

That pair of worthless mutts is one of the main reasons (being in bear country is a close second) I pack heat when out riding. Never have been sure whether it would be more proper to shoot the dog(s) or the owner in a case like that one...
@@felsinferguson1125 I think it's more the owner's fault than the dogs' tho. The dogs are just following their instincts, the owner is the one who didn't train or recall them properly. Not disagreeing with you that you definitely should keep dogs away from horses, but please don't blame the dogs for something that their owner and/or trainer failed at doing
@@irishuisman1450 To be blunt, I don't *CARE* whose fault it might or might not be. What I *DO* care about is getting me and the horse I'm riding back to the barn safe and intact. If that means shooting a dog that's too stupid to back off, particularly when it's being aggressive, then so be it - the dog is gonna get shot - it's really that simple. Don't want me to shoot your dog if/when it comes at me or my horse? You've got two options: 1) Be *ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN* that it will drop whatever it's doing IMMEDIATELY when commanded, or 2) Keep the ill-trained mutt on a leash at all times when it's out and about. Nothing less is acceptable. Ever. Period. No possible discussion on the topic. If your dog is going to be out in public, make sure it's trained, or keep it on a leash or otherwise restrained if you have even the slightest doubt. Or there's the third option - be prepared for somebody to make sure that it will never menace a horse and/or rider ever again. Hard? You betcha. So is me or my horse being injured or killed as a result of your dog harassing/attacking me and/or my horse.

Like I said, I don't disagree with the fact that you should keep dogs away from horses, and I do agree with you on most fronts, especially the training and leash bit, but while I won't even be mad if a horse were to kick a dogs that's harassing it (it's literally just the horse defending itself, not gonna get mad at it for that), I don't necessarily agree with killing a dog just because it doesn't know it's not supposed to go after horses.
I'm more of a horse person than I am a dog person, but I always try to see situations like this from both perspectives

That perspective is simplicity itself: A threat to me or mine is going to be met with whatever response I, in my sole discretion, deem proper to end that threat. Y'see, I've had to doctor horses that ill-trained mutts have injured. I've also had to put a horse down after it took one - yes *EXACTLY ONE* - bite just below the hock - damned mutt got lucky and cut the tendon - game over for the horse. Still wanna tell me that's too "aggressive"? Simply put, I have zero tolerance for horse-hassling dogs. A dog that knows to leave horses alone and/or is "horse friendly"? That dog is fine and dandy. We've got a couple of those right here today on the ranch. A dog that hazes them or worse, actually attacks, is a dog that doesn't need to be alive anymore, and I'll make no apology or excuse for dealing with it in the most expedient manner available.

the one with the dogs, she does have a youtube channel, where she shoes the damage they did. there was no severe damage done, but her horse did have some nasty cuts on his legs. dreadful, wish people would listen and were educated on common curtesy around animals.

The one with the dogs enrages me so much, there are so many ways it can go wrong, if the horse get spooked and decides to kick, the dogs get hurt, if it decides to run it can hurt both itself and the rider by falling/running into something, all because some idiots don't understand that you shouldn't let your dog off the leash unless you can call them back reliably.

I wouldn't recommend kicking dogs or any animal at all, but I'm not against kicking a dog owner who refused to call back their dogs as they endanger the riders. That man or woman needs to train their dogs or have them on a leash if they know they can't control themselves around humans or other animals. It's worse when you realize how far away the owner actually was from the dogs at the end of the video (they were running back once the other rider got off the horse).

When those dogs came after those horses it reminded me of the time when that same thing happened to me,I fell off though and lost my confidence to the point I almost quit riding but I got my confidence back eventually and now I am a better rider than I was before

@江輝 i wasn't in that video both girls had sorrel horses in the one i was in and i weighed my dogs yesterday they both weigh 310lbs they're wolf kangle crosses they're huge so 620 lbs all togeather they're both attack trained and hunt deer with me so they could if i wanted them too they were just protecting me they had no intention of hurting the animals or the girls and their case didn't hold up in court either because videos were later discovered of them knowing they were tresspassing and one girl even was joking around about breaking onto my placei was fine i was way off back in the woods the horses suffered three small bites and the girls were fine

Those horses with the dog were so extremely well behaved, those mutts are lucky they aren't dead. If they were, it'd be 100% on the owner of the dogs.
