Is Julian gay and in love with Greeneyes? I sort of thought so at some points, but then I second-guessed myself. I really would like to hear Nimoy talk about this film, and what he brought to the character.
Julian and Maurice are both gay! They're both in love with Greeneyes, its confirmed by the actors and by the person who produced the movie. Its the entire plot of the movie lmao
Amazing try by Morrow, Nimoy, Mazursky, et al. They might as well have gone all the way and kept the full erotic content. I like it all the same, though "Un Chant d'Amour" is the best Genet on film.
I think this is the worst, most uninteresting movie I've ever forced myself to sit through. Only watched because I love Nimoy. I can't believe this is from the same year he started as Spock on TOS. The wildest part is that one year later, Nimoy and 'green eyes' did TOS s2e2 together - 'Who Mourns for Adonais', with green eyes as Adonais, of course.
This was directed by Vic Morrow...lots of names from the 60's and seventies but very advanced for its time.
What a weird yet great movie
I found this to be terribly relatable.

Has Leonard ever talked about this film??
@frow9405 That's what I thought in the first place XD Leonard Nimoy is to proud to be gay in this XD
At some points it sounds like Emilie Autumn is trying to take over the soundtrack.
That was deffently different. Great shots of LN though the plot was thin.

Okay this was a bit random
Why did Julian kill Maurice?
Then he just regrets it afterwards and hugs him.
And Lefranc?
He’s a psychopath or something,so yeah that would explain it i guess
holy fuck cool
Probably. It's Genet... :)
