- There is a common saying in Nigeria that prices of goods and services in the country hardly obey the law of gravity. Once they go up, they rarely come down. True to this, the hike in prices of commodities, occasioned by the dip in value of the naira against the dollar some few months ago, has not witnessed a decline, despite gains made by the country's currency against global currencies. Now, consumers are fuming over this insensitivity and want naira improvement to reflect in retail prices. In the face of this, the Federal Government has vowed to clampdown on arbitrary hike in prices of commodities.

Wake up from your slumber..The price of petrol won't come back to what it is before at least for now but there will marginal reduction to about N500. And more when the refineries begin working fully ...The subsidy will then deployed to increase salaries ,build infrastructure in education, health, agriculture e t.c....Price of goods have started dropping whether you like it or not...
