Fasting for the first 9 days reminds us of the fast of Ramadan and the incredible impact on raising our Eman it has. If one is unable then Arafat can be fasted on its own. I forgot to fast at 1 dzulhijjah, so can i still fast from 2-9 dzulhijjah? Or i can only fast at Arafah day? Thankyou jazakumullahu khairan katsiran brother.

Please continue fasting the remaining days. Every day fasted is rewarded differently based on the fact that each day represents a different occasion.
DHUL HIJJA
IMPORTANCE AND VALUE OF THE TEN DAYS
QURAN (89: 1-2)
"I swear by the dawn and the ten Nights"
(1) Day one
The day prophet Adam (as) got pardoned from the mistakes after ejection from the paradise.
Whoever fasts the first day of Dhul Hijja ,Allah forgives his prior mistakes .
(2) Day two
The day prophet Yunus pledged his request asking forgiveness from Allah , Yunus was spat and ejected from the stomach of the whale.
Whoever fats this day, Allah forgives his sins for one year.
(3) Day three
The day Allah answered the holy Dua and request of prophet Zakariyyah (as). Allah gave him an upright child Yahya.
Whoever fasts this day with keen intention ,Allah answers all his requests he has been putting before Him.
(4) Day four
The day prophet Issa (as) was born.
Whoever fasts this day four , Allah shuns and cuts off his problems and eases him from poverty
(5) Day five
The day prophet Musa (as) was born.
Whoever fasts this day ,Allah cleanses and purifies him from hypocrisy and protects him from all punishments of his tomb (Qabr).
(6) Day six
Allah revealed the great virtue towards prophet Muhammad (as).
Whoever fasts this day, Allah looks at him and cares him with great keenness .Allah protects him from the punishments of judgement day.
(7) Day seven
The special day when all doors of hell fire (Jahannama ) are closed till ten days end.
Whoever fasts this day , Allah closes for him 30 doors of evil ,difficulty and calamity, and then opens for him 30 doors of virtue ,easiness and blessings .
(8) Day eight
It is termed as , Tar -wiyah
Whoever fasts this day ,Allah gives him rewards of which its greatnes is nit known by any one other than Allah (sw) only.
(9) Day nine
It is termed as Arafah.
Fasting this great day makes one's sins of last year and next year be forgiven and those recorded are deleted from the account book.
Make sure you do the following on this day:
(a) Recite surah Ikh laas x 1000
(b) Make istighfaar x 300
(3) Salatu alaa Muhammad wa aalih x500
Utter all your needs ,before Allah , Inshaallah they will be fulfilled and implemented.
(10)Day ten
Day of Slaughter
Whoever slaughters an animal Allah forgives his sins and the sins of his great friends .
He will be resurrected with alot of virtue and goid deeds on judgement day.
The reward of deeds will pile up and grow heavier than mountain UHUD .

I will train my mind restrain myself I get tested by my own people they swear they smoke and do everything in front of me but I am controlling my self I gave up smoking and bad habits pls make Dua for me. It is Sunnah for the Muslim to fast on the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, because fasting is one of the best of deeds. In a hadith qudsi, Allah says: “All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it.” [Bukhari, 1805]
The Prophet said: “Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one.” [Muslim]

قَالَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا مِنْ أيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالحُ فيها أحبُّ إلى اللهِ من هذِهِ الأيَّام يعني أيَّامَ العشرِ، قالوا : يا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ولا الجِهادُ في سبيلِ اللَّهِ ؟ قالَ : وَلا الجِهادُ في سبيلِ اللهِ، إلَّا رَجلٌ خرجَ بنفسِهِ ومالِهِ، فلم يرجِعْ من ذلِكَ بشيءٍ
پێغەمبەری خوا (صلی الله علیه وسلم) فەرموویەتی:
«هیچ ڕۆژێك نییە کردەوەی چاکە تیایدا خۆشەویستتر بێت لای خوا وەکو ئەم دە ڕۆژەی مانگی حاجیان، وتیان: تەنانەت جیهادیش لە پێناوی خوا؟ فەرمووی: تەنانەت جیهادیش لە پێناوی خوا، مەگەر پیاوێك بە خۆی و ماڵ و سامانییەوە دەربچێت بۆ جیهادو هیچیش لەوانە نەگەڕێتەوە»
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: There is no virtue more to the liking of Allah in any day than in these days, that is, the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. They (the Companions) asked: Messenger of Allah, not even the struggle in the path of Allah (Jihad) ? He said: (Yes), not even the struggle in the path of Allah, except a man who goes out (in the path of Allah) with his life and property, and does not return with any of them.

نزای ڕۆژی عەڕەفە (ڕۆژێک پێش جەژنی قوربان)
باشترین نزاو پاڕانەوە، نزای ڕۆژی عەرەفەیە، ھەروەھا باشترین نزایە، کە من و پێغەمبەرانی پێش خۆم فەرموویانە: « لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ » ــە
واتە: ھیچ پەرستراوێک نییە، کە شایستەی پەرستن بێت، جگە لە (الله)ی تاکی بێ ھاوەڵ نەبێت، موڵک و سامان و ستایش بۆ ئەوە و بەسەر ھەموو شتێکیشدا بە توانا و بە دەسەڵاتە.
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The most excellent dua is the dua on the Day of Arafa, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said, is “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone Who has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things “.

Zikr of 10 days of Dhul Hijjah
📿سُبْحانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمُدُ للهِ، وَلَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
واتە: پاکی و بێگەردی و سوپاس و ستایش بۆ خودایە ، ھیچ پەرستراوێکیش نییە کە شایستەی پەرستن بێت جگە لە (الله)، ھەروەھا (الله) گەورە ترینە و ھیچ ھێز و دەسەڵاتێک نییە جگە لەو نەبێت کە خودای بەرز و بڵند و گەورە دەیبەخشێت ، ئەی پەروەردگارم لێم خۆشببە.
Glory is to Allah. Praise is to Allah.
There is none worthy of worship but Allah. Allah is the Most Great.
There is no might and no power except by Allah's leave, the Exalted, the Mighty.

سونـەتە کە لەسەرەتای بینینی مانگ ھەتا کۆتایی ڕۆژی ١٣ی ذي الحجة تەکبیر بکرێ، وەک بوخاری لە صەحیحەکەیدا ھێناویەتی کە إبن عومەڕ و ئەبی ھوڕەیڕە «خوا لێیان ڕازی بێ» لە ۱٠ ڕۆژی سەرەتای ذي الحجة دەچونە بازاڕەکان و تەکبیریان ئەکرد وخەڵکیش بە تەکبیری ئەوان تەکبیریان ئەکرد
كان ابنُ عُمرَ وأبو هُرَيرَة يَخرُجانِ إلى السوقِ في أيَّامِ العشرِ يُكبِّرانِ، ويُكبِّر الناسُ بتكبيرِهما
Ibn Omar, and Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with them, have been used to go out to the markets in the ten days reciting the Takbir “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar”, so that people do the same.

Why is the Vatican opening up about their oldest records? This conversation that is brewing looks like it has been planned big time. Also, another curious point is that the Arabic language that Muslims know is not from the Hejaz region in the south of Saudi Arabia that encompasses Madina and Mecca. The Arabic in the Quran today is from the northern regions of Petra, Damascus... Did you realize this? Looks like Islam is coming under a lot of scrutiny by so many archeologists and historians.

Should i fast for 10 days or 9 days ? Only 9 days bcz the 10th is eid also what if women got period she didnt fast for like 5 days from dull hijja can she join in 6th day and fast also do she has to make up the missed fasting too ?

There is also one hadith which says that is related to Aisha R. A. that I have never seen Rasulullah S. A. W. fasting in the ten days of dhul hijjah...Sahih Muslim Volume 1

The first day of Dhul hijjah was on Sunday July 11. Today we are in the third day of Dhul hijjah. The day of Arafat will be on Monday July 19. Eid al adha will be on Tuesday July 20. Focus and do many good deeds.
