Anyone at any time can develop a skin sensitivity or contact dermatitis, though - fragrance increases that risk, regardless if you have sensitive skin. Just because it’s not illegal for these companies to put fragrance in skin care, doesn’t mean it should be in there. It has no benefit for the skin and can only cause problems. The whole thing was an ad. I doubt that’s her real routine. She was careful to highlight very specific product attributes and did so in a very “salesy” fashion. Bummer.
Because it can produce unhealthy skin when she gets older and Hyram is trying to make sure that people who have skin that would react negatively to these products know not to use them from an ingredient stand point. If you watch the beginning he says that he’s trying to improve our skin care routines and even hers so that she doesn’t have damage in the future and can have sustainable perfect skin
Recently I have noticed that, perhaps because of social media, people think that when you're over 30 you should look middle aged. And since i have started working with people over the age of 30/35 I have noticed that it's not the case at all... They just don't look like teenagers
I absolutely agree with him about essential oils on skin, and while I would never put Pep Halo on my face skin like that, it is important to note that Peppermint Halo from Saje is mixed with a carrier oil to help going on skin, it’s not just purely the concentrated essential oil! But like mentioned at the beginning Hyram is correct obviously when it comes to essential oils.
Estheticians and people that know that they are talking about will disagree with many things Hyram says about oils. He is just an enthusiast that often says wrong things. I love his character and energy but I’d never trust him about things like these. He made too many wrong statements before.
My first questions would be what carrier oil? Have you looked at the ingredients for Peppermint Halo? There is no carrier oil. Plus, on their website under how to use nowhere does it say to use it directly on the skin, even though the applicator would have you think that it should be, every direction they give says to mix the Peppermint Halo with a carrier oil.

As soon as she said that throat spray was “immune boosting” I knew I was about to hear some nonsense in the rest of this video. I have some essential oils from Saje and I only use them for aromatherapy. When I open the bottle to get a couple drops out to diffuse my eyes water and I have to hold my breath it’s so strong. The fact that she put it all around her face without batting an eyelash 😱
To be fair, there ARE studies showing propolis is immune's boosting agent. It is also known that propolis has antibiotic, anti-cancerogenic and anti-inflammatory properties.
@@raigenhuss7030 Yup. I always thought that my problem was a weak immune-system... funny how that turned out. My body goes into full defensive mode as soon as someone just thinks of coughing in a flat 2 doors down.
@@raigenhuss7030 actually in the case of propolis it is not that incorrect. It can have adverse over reactions by your immune system like allergic reactions. Prolonged use can also lead to your mucous membranes (especially in your nose) to dry out because it messes with the bacteria there two. Though there are promising studies on its benefits in labs and mice there is not enaught data for it to be medication jet. So legally speaking you can not claim those finding in many countries. So often “immune booting” is the only tune of phrase companies can use to describe the effects of propolis. I have been using it for may years now with the ok of my ear-nose and throat doctor as I am very prone to bronchitis and would have to use antibiotics way to often otherwise. Though generally I agree 100% with you, that natural medicine and claims of immune boosting should be taken with a bucket of salt, propolis can be really helpful if you feel something coming one. I see it as one tool in my Arsenal like getting more sleep and eating chicken soup, though I do believe it is a bit more effective than those other two. Lastly though I normally dislike the “it has been used though out history” argument, as we have died of horrible medical cures in the past, propolis was successfully used by the red army in WWII as one of its primary medicines mostly due to its antibiotic properties (fun fact: also why it is called Russian penicillin). I a time where antibiotic resistant bacteria becomes an issue because of the over use of antibiotics like penicillin an alternative for less severe viral infections should be dismissed outright because of marketing language chosen due to legal restrictions
@@raigenhuss7030 I hear you. I am allergic myself so I am familiar with unwanted immune reaction. I also agree that companies use that term losely just to boost (👀) sales. But I really meant it when I said that propolis is immuno-boosting because there are studies showing it can stimulate activity of macrophages and natural killer cells (important cells in immune system).
Hi, Hyram🤍 First of all, I’m really glad that you took a 12 hours nap hahaha. And second, your editing is improving by the day and I am proud of that. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do!

I binged it; loved her outfits and it being set in Paris
It is the worst series ever!
She said the essential oil was to help with the headaches, I love you Hyram and I agree with you in fragrance and essential oil that they have no benefits for the skin but not everything is black and white, I suffer from migraine and my recent solution for not taking sooooo many pills and damage my freaking liver for life is putting mint essential oil in my forehead
Thank you!! Andddd there’s no way that the essential oils she was using in her roller were undiluted.
And she was using a product specifically designed to be rolled onto the skin for headaches.
@@GO-nd3kg saying 'he's a little misinformed' in the same comment as calling an mlm a 'high end' company is hilarious.
@@GO-nd3kg i used to work for saje and doTerra was not ever recommended to us because the company apparently wasnt great. we learned a lot about essential oils that you could use/dillute and the ones that were NOt recommended were always listed for sale on doterra which was odd to me lmao
@@GO-nd3kg Not only that, but doTerra is an MLM, meaning that are essentially a legal pyramid scheme and their employees don't get a proper wage. I feel like this is not her actual skincare routine. Like they told her she had to throw some cheap stuff in there to be relatable, and then ofc rep Lancôme. Def off
thatonekid I don't think it was to be relatable. She won't be allowed to mention any direct competitors of Lancôme. So no Clinique, Estée Lauder etc.
That's what I thought too. I feel like she was selling every single product and I'm sure that was the whole point of the video.

While fragrances aren’t recommended, they are more of an irritant for sensitive skin than something you absolutely shouldn’t have in your skincare
I highly recommend you check out Dr. Dray’s channel, she is a dermatologist and does a wonderful job explaining this better. 🥰

The whole thing was an ad. I doubt that’s her real routine. She was careful to highlight very specific product attributes and did so in a very “salesy” fashion. Bummer.

Hyram: "Oh good....." looking more and more concerned.
Lol yeah because she was using the brush roughly 🤣
She has perfect skin, so not sure why this “specialist” can argue she should make a change?
Because it can produce unhealthy skin when she gets older and Hyram is trying to make sure that people who have skin that would react negatively to these products know not to use them from an ingredient stand point. If you watch the beginning he says that he’s trying to improve our skin care routines and even hers so that she doesn’t have damage in the future and can have sustainable perfect skin

Take a shot every time hyram says “not the worst thing in the world”
we’d all be drunk by the end of the video
Why do all these comments have similar pfps even the two girls above you
I absolutely agree with him about essential oils on skin, and while I would never put Pep Halo on my face skin like that, it is important to note that Peppermint Halo from Saje is mixed with a carrier oil to help going on skin, it’s not just purely the concentrated essential oil!
知保ちほ agreed!
Your early 30s isn’t old guys 😂 y’all acting like she should actually look like the crypt keeper without Botox.

True, I was kinda disappointed when he reacted like that, 31 is still young.

@@marija1922 a “boosted” immune system is not a good thing. That’s called an autoimmune disease, and any product that claims to do this is lying
Please tell me I’m not the only one that got three St. Ives ads while watching this... I’m dying
