A high quality, high lumen LED flashlight is the most underrated self defense tool. I don't think people realize how effective it is (at night time/in darkness.) A high quality LED will essentially blind an attacker and especially so if they've already established night vision. It can work on nocturnal animals too as a deterrent. There is no antidote except to wait until vision recovers which can be at least a few seconds to well over a minute depending on a few factors. No one is immune. Test it on yourself if you want lol. I've carried a tiny Streamlight Microstream pocket flashlight clipped inside my pocket everyday for 10 years and will never be without it.
I agree a good bright light is always a good thing to carry with you. With LED technology getting better every year, we have some great options of small portable flashlights and strobe lights now. Of course a large light can be a good thing too if you need to club them after blinding them.

It should be noted with regards to 3d printed guns, it is just the frame that is being printed. One must still buy the slide/barrel/internals (FGC-9 is an exception) and assemble it. Unless you are a person familiar with guns and have a safe place/way to test it I would not do so. Also illegal in some states. Seriously, if you want a firearm go buy one. Leave the 3d printing to those that have at least the shooting experience to know that something is about to go wrong.
Yeah, and after watching several documentaries on "ghost guns" (the vice one is good), even the pros who design and 3D print their own guns have oodles of issues (jamming, parts breaking, not working, etc). The video said the guy isn't giving the plans/schematics out but that's nonsense - they're already available on the internet. Tons of 3D printed glock plans already exist. I looked into it thinking it was neat, but after seeing how reliable they are (even the cream of the crop plans are iffy at best), you'd be better off just buying a real one.
The belt knife is prohibited in Canad. Also, be aware that a knife of that shape without a decent hilt will allow your hand to ride up onto the blade when making a stabbing motion so you will get cut as well.
what is even better is take 1/2" x 6" black iron pipe cut the chain slide it down in the pipe add a 1/2 x 3/4 female reducer with a 3/4 male plug at the end so that you can curl the chain at the end where you hold and screw the male plug into the 3/4 adapter so it pinches the chain in the reducer part of it and on the other part now that the one is anchored solid the other part hanging out of the handle curl the end of chain to about a golf ball size and have someone weld it. makes a nice end weight to make a nice modern day mace . in your pocket all curled up and only 6" long ,but would take the hide off any one who dare try their luck. 3 qty 1/4 cable works good too, just harder to stay anchored. great for weed eating thru the thicket too. multi purpose and if you make them hang out about 18" works good too
