LET'S TALK ABOUT DIVORCE & REMARRIAGE❗️
Marriage is a covenant unto death....can't change that.
Marriage is different because it's a covenant (agreement) before God. It shouldn't be something you just toss to the side when you feel like.
Speaking the truth
Many of the same who say you can’t divorce have already divorced because they have mentally left the marriage. They just still hanging on to a piece of paper when their heart is somewhere else.
You can divorce but if you divorce and remarry for any reason other than adultery then you are an adulterer (Matthew 19:9)
This is so real and very needed! I’ve been divorced since 2010. God loves me unconditionally regardless of my marital status … her story is so much like mine! I’m whole and ready to marry my purpose mate 😊 I lived in “Church” condemnation for toooooo long….seek God and HIS righteousness in ALL situations. God speaks! And when He did I said … “What the? So good! I believe the church has a lot of religious boxes in regards to “What God has joined together…” sometimes it’s not God joining together and just man in wrongful desires or lack of wisdom & purpose..Christ came to give us Life & Life more abundantly! Walk in your Freedom! 🕊️
I been divorced after 25 years for the last 3 years now and I discovered only more of myself and hope to meet someone to do the call of God our lives together!Im excited for this new season!
I totally appreciate this topic. I was married and divrced 2 times before I got saved. But then I got saved and was in a very religious church that would not allow me to get married or even date. So I have been single for 8 years. Now Im like, wait a minute. Where is the grace and forgiveness? So glad you talked about it. Divorce happens, we need to have/give grace.

The words you spoke at the end were powerful about the adultery where you pointed out mindsets that don't wish to remarry being scared of adultery and explaining we wouldn't have need for Jesus if we did all things correct.
I have wrestled with this & stayed in my marriage though knowing it was killing me because of Matthew 5.32. Through adultery I stayed only for the trauma to increase. Now separated 2 years & still believed I cannot remarry but I still want my children to live what I didn’t & to experience healthy marriage. Thanks for this. I still need God to work in me regarding this. Pray for me. ❤ & blessings

I've never been able to find my place in the church as a divorced Christian. There's singles ministry, widows, married & no real place for women who are divorced. Also, when they pray for restoration of marriages, I'm not sure to say "amen" for myself because in my case I believe the separation was from God.
When they’re praying for marriages to be restored I can stand in agreement with others but just like you, my separation was all God. In terms of finding a ministry to “identify” with, I join the singles, cause that’s what I am - single. That’s how I look at it anyway 😊
The tools about marriage are develop every day. I would love to see this kind of conversation with a couple with More Years together.

I think some people get married for the wrong reason, back in the days if you make a mistake and get pregnant they make you get married I feel it’s the wrong reason!!!!!

Good evening!!! but the bible it's clear about divorce. In Mat 5:32 Jesus said the only way you should get divorce, only if there's cheating. Of course if your life is in danger you'll have to leave. Get divorce doesn't mean remarried
Whom God join together lets no man put as sunder. If their marriage were not ordained back then it will not work. They met they purpose matched so they can walk in agreement with God.
We swiggle the word to fit our agenda, I think death does it part except for cheating and life threatening those are the vows people choose to make.
One thing I have learned is that I divorced the body, but GOD did not divorce me (us). My next marriage will be ordained of GOD and for purpose. The wait on this GOD ordained marriage is real! but it will be worth it. Together we will bring down many empires of darkness. On that note I definitely understand why the wait has to be with patience and GOD is bringing it all together 🙏🏾

One thing to know is pray and ask God before marrying someone. God will show you. Things do get hard in marriages- I believe sometimes its due to satan not liking unity, nor union under God or becoming one. So he causes havoc and chaos in your marriage. Other cases, some marry out of lust for the person, being lonely, looks, etc. All the wrong reasons. So if you want to be married or married again make sure you speak to God first. Marrying for the right reasons, marry someone most importantly who has the same beliefs as you. If you know the person doesnt love God nor serve God, you cant change that person only God can. This is what also causes issues, marrying someone who doesnt love God. Now God does say when your already married and the person isnt saved, to pray for that person. Best to talk to God- its a big step and a big commitment.

When we come to a complete place of submission before God, we can give freely and practice the spirit of "AFTER YOU," LIKENED TO ALLOWING Your spouse to walk through any door/ conversation or activity *FIRST*.... AS YOU SAY....."AFTER YOU," with a HUMBLE HEART AND A QUIET SPIRIT.
I hear what they say about purpose but I really appreciate the perspective of her husband. People forget that marriage has a built in purpose even before church ministry, which is to demonstrate the relationship between Christ and His church; which is one that endures despite sin,imperfections, conflicts etc. It is one that thrives on forgiveness and returning to first principles. Jesus made it clear that divorce was allowed because of the " hardness of people's hearts". I think in this video the husband really acknowledged this when he admitted that marriage would be as long as you want it to be. Remarriage is a concession but its definitely not God's ideal. That's why the church frowns on Divorce and remarriage. It is allowed because of the sinfulness and feebleness of the heart of man, but it is not to be understood as a path that Christians should readily take. I judge no one for being either divorced or remarried but I wish those who choose that path would be honest about the fact that it is not God's ideal.

Husbands should love their wives as Christ love the church.....Christ has yet to divorce the church despite the church constantly hurting him. Many miss this part.

It's EXTREMELY important for wives to SEE the annointing that RESTS UPON their husbands. CLEARLY CLEARLY CLEARLY........these men are annointed & God honors the annointing. Wives are called to SEE the annointing and the wife's annointing is
to do what the word encourages us to do. I'm single, but I can clearly SEE the annointing upon them. My prayer is that God give women the SEERs eye to honor the annointing & when we do this ABUNDANT PEACE ABUNDANT BLESSING & ABUNDANT JOY WILL FLOW......AND our children will SEE IT!!!

I appreciate this video. I wish the couple spoke more to what it says in the Word about divorce and how they married the two so to speak. Not so much religious people but more about - well the Word says this - how do I reconcile remarrying. I think that’s where a lot of us get stuck (including myself as I’ve been divorced and look forward to remarrying) The Word says marrying a divorced woman is adultery. It’s in our bible in Mark and Luke - but that’s what I don’t fully understand and want to know more about. I’d love it if someone could address that but I feel like everyone tiptoes around it.

I am on my 4th divorce and never felt accepted by the church and often looked down on. Am I missing something?
Noone should ever make you feel excluded or rejected just know christ loves you and pray for those who persecute you.
According to the story of the Samaritan woman you meet Jesus after the fifth....so...😂 But on a serious note I am truly sorry you have gone through this. The fact they looked down on you was their carnal heart as we shouldn't do that to another.
Uncomfortably I had 2 divorces. My 1st husband, we got together @16(highschool sweethearts) We where together 15 yrs. My 2nd marriage we where 17 yrs but we fist fight almost everyday for 27 yrs. I started too long so my kids would not stay without a father but it did more damage then God.

Unless your partner commits adultery first, if you divorce and remarry you are an adulterer and are living in sin. 'Prophet Lovy' is an adulterer and a false prophet, for teaching that 'God was lusting after him' and that he got divorced because he was a pastor, and then could remarry a different woman. Matthew 5 is just one place this injunction on divorce and remarriage is written, go read Matthew 19. And even for the injunctions in Matthew 5, yes we need to resist sinning in thoughts too, Jesus' propitiation is not a licence to sin, as we live under the Law of Christ.

This is clear violation of the Scriptures to remarry when you have a LIVING COVENANT SPOUSE! Noel should know better to marry anyone who divorced and has a living spouse!! Jesus says this is adultery. Anyone who has divorced and remarried and have a living spouse, your first spouse, you must repent and come out of this ADULTEROUS REMARRIAGE! Do you believe in the trinity? Even people who understand divorce and remarriage is adultery are oneness Pentecostal’s. It’s really sad. Most churches are not preaching the truth on this.
