It’s “hairography” like Glee described... it kind of gives more flair to the performance without necessarily adding more technique. I love it personally, but I still think it’s worth pointing out how much it makes it muchhhh easier to choreograph routines. They all become very similar.
Yeah I noticed that too. I think a little hair flipping can make it a lot better and/or more dramatic, but not that much... The dance was good though

I really think Marissa needs to take more classes from other choreographers because she uses the same moves every. single. time. She hasnt grown as a choreographer. You could put her videos side by side and theyd all look the same.

K Rose Alastre she was on world of dance. She/ her team didn’t make it. You should watch it! It’s a good show and you can definitely tell that she’s not a very versatile dancer. She’s great don’t get me wrong, but she lacks range
I dunno about you, but I feel she's actually so insecure that she constantly does the same moves to get attention any way she can so she can fish for compliments to help fragile self-esteem
Ruberi Pi hmm maybe. I always saw it as her knowing what works for her so she sticks to it. I think she’s very confident in her look and her moves enough to teach large classes and to be on but shows, but because she knows the reaction she’ll get dancing like this she sticks to it and never grows!
alejandra obregon thank you so much! I’ve never heard of that show, I’ll have to look for it. I used to always watch “America’s Next Best Dance Crew” and other dance shows. Also you’re really kind in your analysis of her... I kind of agree with the person who commented after you, but I also agree with your point. She knows this is her strength, and everyone plays to their strengths (If they’re smart) she’s clearly really talented but unfortunately I agree, she’s just not versatile enough.

I see what that person is saying but it may just be because she feels confident doing these type of moves; not everyone is fishing for compliments just by doing what they’re good at 🙊 sorry I felt more comfortable replying to you about this than the other person because I’m not into arguments lol

Some of these moves are actually a LOT easier to do in heels because you’ve got more distance between the bottom of your foot and the ground, which elongates the leg and adds elegance with little extra choreo. and you have a much smoother turn. But yes they all looked great I agree.

There’s something awkward about the transitions in the choreo. As smooth as it’s supposed to come off it just doesn’t hit. Kind of boring and she doesn’t take advantage of trying to hit the beat just right. 3 or 4th group made good use with what they had so yea...lol

This is an amazing dance although I do think there could be more variety in the moves, not all sexy dances need the same 5 explicit dance moves to be sexy.
So many haters....first off Marissa used a lot of new choreography in this one, which was FIRE but also every single choreographer uses a lot of their own signature movements. It also gets the class used to her style, so they can get better and better with practice and feel more confident. And also they have to get through the choreography quickly. This isn't a concert this is a dance class. Anyway I loooooved this and I ♡ you Marissa! You're incredible!

I've basically watched all of them
She's teaching a Heartbreak Heels class, so using signature moves along with the theme. This helps her students learn the moves faster because they can anticipate a certain set of moves.
One thing that is intoxicating, is the powerful, seductive sensuality inherent in executing these moves. Also, it's hella fun to dance like this!!
If you don't like the repetition of her moves, can you at least appreciate the degree of precision and execution she's bringing to each of these moves??? Incredibly difficult and she executes them flawlessly with attitude, eye contact, sensuality, and confidence. Ever body part in every frame looks amazing. That's quite difficult to achieve, not only aesthetic wise but technique-wise. Serious props, Marissa Heart.

Marissa, this is great choreography BUT WAY too much repetitive action, like you just do a bunch of things with your chest. You have to actually start growing as a choreographer and learn new moves... you use the same moves in every. Single. Video. You need to start learning new moves, how about you learn some new moves from a different choreographer?

Ummm- there are many types of dancing, Mashail. She's definitely doing steps. It's just highly sensualized and also incredibly athletic as well, because they are doing such fast moves to pop music, which usually has a high BPM.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a sexual dance to me it's just her embracing her sexuality. And if a man were to dance and act sexual shirtless no one would bat an eye.

why do most of the girls look like they're over sexualizing it and if you're going to be sexualizing the whole dance routine all the time change up the body types, I want to see diversity in the routines and dancers like wtf dawg. And I had to delete half of what i was going to say because it sounded like body shaming and I don't want to come off as that because I struggle with that, but i'm trying to say she's putting out the message that you can only dance sexy if you're a small skinny girl and I don't believe that.
