My hikvision DVR recording is not working and it's hard disk (hard drive, recording surveillance) not detected. There are a common problem in DVR and NVR. DVR power supply is not suitable for hard drive operating in this case DVR give not full current and voltage to the hard drive so hard drive not working condition. In this problem is very easy to install hard drive as a working. Replace the powerful supply of DVR or NVR.
And restart the DVR after 5 minutes. then show hard drive please format are initialised. After formatting you can start your recording
on your Drive.

Sir, mine also Hikvison Dvr
I installed a HDD, it shows abnormal hard disk. After pressed initialize option it goes to R/W status. But when the power cuts the DVR again shows abnormal HDD error. Please help me.
