God that audience is bland. If i were there, because i was watching this on cable an hour and a half away from this, i would have been enthralled and bewildered that i was there! Lights is an amazing person, and her songs are SO GOOD, and back then she wasn’t appreciated enough.
I love this performance but her voice has gotten so much stronger over the years and I'm happy for that. It's so intense when she does the third verse too.

Lights is amazing! The audience probably isn't very excited because they didn't know her very well back in 2008. Anyway I miss Matte Babel as a VJ he was the best one muchmusic has ever had :)
@AloJou no she wasn't (popular) she was there for one semester cos she was home schooled mostly. she was really nice, really smart, all the girls were jealous of her and the guys were to chicken to talk to her. so she basically hung out what people would say the "geeks" or "rejects"
I was there and just a little FYI, the crowd wasn't too happy because we had passes to take a tour around the Much Music studio before the show started- instead they made us wait in the freezing rain for 45 minutes. Would any of you have been happy about that? I doubt it. And anyway, how do you rock out to a slow song like that?
@isabellelaro20 Actually, she is really gorgeous, her hair is styled in a way that is FASHION, and she has more talent than ANYONE on the radio. Just listen to her nowadays. She is AMAZING and won a Juno before her album was even released. Dont diss if you dont know.

The isn't a concert, why do expect cheering? It's a live TV performance on MOD... is there cheering during the song when people perform on Ellen? No. It's respectful not to interrupt. These are the kinds of performances that introduce the TV audience to a new singer... you gotta be able to hear a song to like it the first time it's played for you.
this definitley isnt one of her best AT ALL. shes gotten SO MUCH BETTER. i saw her at Warped Tour. and this is TERRIBLE... compared to that. i think something is wrong with her in this. like big time.
